Which Bike to buy?

Since you had owned CBZ Xtreme you would be tired of the sedate feeling so you would like to have a thrilling machine. If I were you I would have waited for P200NS, if 90K is fixed then I would have tried hands on P220F after having a sedate CBZ Xtreme. It would be a good change. Since you already had a 150cc bike an upgrade would be a bigger, more powerful bike. But a 220cc bike would give you around 35kmpl. If you are ok then it would be a good buy. Projectors are good for night riding.Originally posted by ithebiker View PostSo now with 90k in ma pocket which bike should i go for ?????Whats there in a signature?

with 90k in hand rtr abs is the best bet.you don't need 220 now as it is at the end of its path.what do you get with rtr abs over 220=
1.good handling around corners.
2.city traffic cutter.
3.more mileage.
4.abs.
what you don't get=
1.more top whack.
2.better light.
3.a highway performer.
4.better looks imo.
now choose according to your need,if you are strictly city-rider choose rtr anyday.and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

Can't Buy a Bike.
Now i arrive at a bitter situation.
I went to a bajaj showroom in delhi, with everything ready these people say that i can't buy a bike because i don't have valid address proof in delhi. i am working with a the largest private sector Bank for the last 2.5 years. here are the series of documents which they are not accepting.
1. my bank statement.
2. salary slip.
3. letter of proof from the organisation.
4. rent agreement (has to be authorised by court).
what they want:
1. voter ID.
2. Copy of passbook from any nationalised bank.
3. copy of LIC Slip.
People from outside delhi can't buy a bike? worst part of the situation is SBI is accepting letter of proof from the organisation as address proof and these Bajaj People.
Then i went to Hero Moto Corp Dealer and the RTO Guy sitting there was ready for many alternatives. Grow up Bajaj. At least learn to serve better.

back to the topic, try different bajaj dealership.actually you are getting your bike financed .so you need to provide valid adress proof,i think the bajaj guys are being little skeptical.and the question remains why do i race?

RTR180 ABS all the way, superb bike, accelerates without a struggle all the way till 110Kmph. And the exhaust note is just superb. Its the quickest bike I've ever seen. One of my classmates own's the bike and am so jealous of how he zips through traffic and overtakes with style.Motorcycling Experience:
2000 ~ 2017 Y2K Kinetic Zoom (Disposed at 15k)
2011 ~ 2015 Hero Honda Karizma R (Sold at 56.5k)
2013 ~ 2014 Bajaj Discover 100 4G (Sold at 16.5k)
2015 ~ 2017 TVS Wego (Totaled at 18k)
2015 - Bajaj Pulsar 220F (Currently 31k) < Garage Queen!
2017 - Bajaj CT100B (Currently 21k) < 'Golden Quadrilateral' Runner!
The Ride was Good, but Life is short, spend it Wisely!
Adios Comrades!

Bajaj servicing even in HYD is a disaster too they even lie that they did the teflon coating even if they didn't my friend gave his p150 where he had like 4-5 problems....after servicing theyy got fixed but just a month later all of them were right back into the bike!!
and as for u r bike suggestion only if u exclude your height factor the rtr abs is really a good machine...the braking is awesome but yes it has vibes after 80+ else u can go for the karizma

Its your personal experience and it cannot be generalised.Originally posted by Kalli12 View PostBajaj servicing even in HYD is a disaster too they even lie that they did the teflon coating even if they didn't my friend gave his p150 where he had like 4-5 problems....after servicing theyy got fixed but just a month later all of them were right back into the bike!!

I had the same feeling when I gave my bike (Honda Stunner) for Teflon Coating. Teflon coating cannot be recognised by seeing. I thought they cheated me and did not do teflon coating. I was really annoyed since there was not a single difference on the paint. But later I saw some marks on the inner fairing which supposedly were teflon coating marks.
@ithebiker, its not about Bajaj not serving you its about a particular showroom. Luckily you had a better experience in a Hero showroom otherwise the situation could be worse(Personal Exp no offence). Try some other Bajaj showrooms.

You can say that if it just happens in a single showroom....went to 4 diff showrooms and the end results are same he still have his problems with the bike and hero's servicing is far better than bajaj's im not saying that all hero service centers are good but most of them are!
EDIIT: Teflon coating can be recognized by watching and even touching the bike...there is alot of difference b/w general water wash and teflon coating!Last edited by Kalli12; 03-28-2012, 10:30 PM.

I know water and teflon coating are different but its hard to recognize. May be I too am cheated still not sure since the Honda dealer I went was not customer friendly. In Ranchi the Bajaj Service centers were really good. I was very happy with them but don't have any idea about Hyd.Originally posted by Kalli12 View PostYou can say that if it just happens in a single showroom....went to 4 diff showrooms and the end results are same he still have his problems with the bike and hero's servicing is far better than bajaj's im not saying that all hero service centers are good but most of them are!

@TS if money can be stretched go for p200ns!! looks promising!! else rtr 180 ABS is a complete package

Actually Stunner's stock Metallic paint is already very smooth to touch, I noticed it beforehand. So after Tef-coat I was still thinking they have done or not. I asked the guys many times. They said they have done. Actually on metallic paint you can't notice the difference by seeing though by touching you can. But by the marks I saw on the inner plastics I suppose probably they had done it.Whats there in a signature?
