  • Guyz,help me in choosing a bike

I'm confused.I'm not able to make a decision for myself.I'm going to buy a new bike. But cant decide in between ZMA/P200/FZ16.I'm not looking for a performance oriented bike.Need performance + decent mileage. 35+ wil do.i'm not that interested in fz16 as compared to P200/ZMA as i dont think that fz is worth 72k.P200 costs around 82xxx and ZMA around 84xxx.Then,i need to know about the maintainence costs of these bikes too.
    Thanks in advance

    Topic Approved.

Although, you don't seem too inclined towards the FZ, but according to your requirements (decent power & fuel efficiency of 35+), I think the FZ would suit your needs perfectly followed by the P-200. I cannot comment on the ZMA though.

i still didnt understand what is the requirement. thats a very wide band ... each one of them is unique and their ratios differ.
is it just mileage? then why not drop back to 150 segment?
for service, yam and honda is good...

fz is nt a great performer. p-200 is also doesnt live up to its specifications. the zma is a sure shot performer.
if 35+ is the criteria then zma drops out automatically.

from the choices you gave go in for p200 or the zma....... but you dont seem much into performance n all...........

and about the p200 price it cost 74000 otr in INDORE (M.P)..

              about the maintainence and reliability..........
zma wins hands down any day....

                P200 costs 74k mate.
ZMA wins all races in all dept.
You can also look P220, well it leads ZMA as Fi.

                  hi ..
FZ has smaller pillion seat than others but I have read from the owners that it is not that bad and comfortable enough for pillions. Take a test ride with a pillion.

I also listed out -ves of FZ in my thread which I read over different forums and blogs but it seems none of them are too bad: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/what-bik...tml#post132068

If you are not power freak and want power + mileage combination do check RTR 160(FI or Carb) and Suzuki GS150R

I went to KVR BAJAJ and enquired about P200's cost. Its 82k+ in kerala. And when i asked about any upgrades of pulsar, they told P250 will be launched soon.

Then i saw a glimpse of the CAR AND BIKE show in NDTV.They were comparing 150 segments bike like P150/hunk/fz16/rtr.Seems like FZ was the best among them according to those guyz.

Then heard there's some serious troubles with the P200 chain. Many told me it breaks very quickly. Is it true?

                          That is still speculative news.

I'd suggest you go for P200. It has more power than a FZ and it does deliver 35+ though with spirited riding, it will come down. FZ16 would also not be a bad option but since you think it's not worth it then well...

P200 costs 80K in Kerala?? thats alot. I haven't checked in Bangalore. But last time I did check it was around 76 on road.

Then what about the reliability of bajaj engine??Will it last long??
