  • Can i buy a second hand Yamaha R15

I'm thinking of buying a used Yamaha r15 which was claimed to run 15k kms , And the external condition seems good. Don't know about internal condition (engine e.t.c) as the seller is from another city.

Will the maintanance cost of R15 so high???? Mileage is not a problem because im not into long drives. Do you insist me on buying this bike? i have heard used one will have lot problems .

I've also considered new FZ and pulsar 180, but every other guy has one of those bikes. So i don't wish to buy it. PLease help me decide

      INFO pls

What is your budget and the manufacturing year of the bike in question. It is always better to get a new bike than an old bike. Any old bike IMHO will make you run to the service station more often than or not.

Take your time reading the USed bike section in universal threads section
      CBR250R |
      Bajaj Pulsar 180 - dts i |
      Bajaj CT 100

Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight.

It was not that far on the map.

First of all try to find out why he is selling the bike. If this is a accidental or not ,i mean any major accident. Have a proper TD of about 2-3 kms min. Check the radiator also. And at last checkout the FE if this is less than 30 then its better to away from it as this is because of a bad running-in.

just like every other guy owns a pulsar, rtr, you will definitely find plenty of r15 s on road, they are common too,you need exclusivity, then go for duke,150r or be a common man like us.
secondly i am not really fan of 2nd hand bikes that too from another city.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
          #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
