See I dont care about speeding anywhere near the 100kmph mark. I dont care about having a funky looking bike either. And it doesnt matter to me if the same bike is driven by everyone else.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostIm 5 11' and weight a 110kgs.

The only thing I strongly care about is that the bike shouldnt be dwarfed by my frame, should fit my budget of 60-80k, and should have a decent mileage.
Now with that i mind, my options are Xtreme, Hunk, Unicorn. Is it true that a 150cc wont hold me? If so, then how about a Pulsar180? I dont wanna go any higher than that

Bro, I went on a trip with my friend on his fazer I rode as both rider and pillion. And I'd have to say its the crappiest two wheeler ride in my life. After completing 280+/- kms we both were literally suffering from fatigue. And mind it, it wasn't even a continuous ride. The fazer is just limited for extended street riding and that's it. Nothing more,Originally posted by shrinathrao View PostWith eyes closed Fazer is your best bet. Since it has the same stance as ZMA and is easy to maintain with just lube the chain stuff every 500 kms.
FZ - Go visit neighbours house and return.
Fazer - Go visit neighbours house and return WITH STYLE.
The above is the only difference and that too from a bike Yamaha branded as "Touring Spirit"
Eyes closed and go for the GS150R and you won't ever regret it, in terms of reliability, style and performance.Originally posted by noobiker View PostSee I dont care about speeding anywhere near the 100kmph mark. And no worries regarding CC cause before this I used to ride a Kiney and I was more comfortable riding that than I've ever been in my ZMA.Motorcycling Experience:

+1Originally posted by kaynmantis View PostFrom what I can understand for your requirement. Honda unicorn is the best bet. A no nonsense bike that is considered one of the best commuter bike. Decent power, decent mileage, reasonably big, unparallel smooth engine and reliability. What are you waiting for?
im 6'3" and the weight needle crossed a century long time back. I ride a Honda Unicorn for the past 2 years, and i agree with kaynmantis totally!
This bike will give u good mileage and decent power for a commuter bike.
The bike does not hesitate even a bit while pulling through traffic.
Honda has spoiled me with the smoothness of the engine
Overall, this is the best package for your requirements my friend.

Okay. But that 'soon' is going to take 2-3 years IMO... Also there'll be some upgradations/added features, but bajaj can't discontinue P180 completely.Originally posted by Satyamzma View PostIt will be done sooner as whole new Pulsar Range is ready for launch very soon...
Anyway, I don't want to divert thread to somewhere else. Will see what happens next...Originality is the art of hiding your sources...

It will not be done very soon. Reverent Mr. Rajiv Bajaj has clarified that they would be selling the new pulsars along with the current ones. Also there ain't gonna be a new pulsar with 180cc engine most probably so I don't see any reason for it being discontinued before 2014 at the very minimum.Originally posted by Satyamzma View PostIt will be done sooner as whole new Pulsar Range is ready for launch very soon...
@TS, checkout P180. Surely gonna give you alot of big power over 150s with almost same FE. Also its split seats, split handlebars, new silver colored engine and black clip-ons looks cool.Whats there in a signature?
