    Help in choosing a bike!

    Dear members,

    I am very new to x-bhp. I already own a Passion Plus 2004 model. Now it is time to upgrade my bike.
    I travel 65 kms (one way) to work and home back. I need some good bike that has good sitting posture so as to avoid back pains and a decent average somewhere between 50 - 55 kmpl.
    I test rode Unicorn and Pulsar 150.
    Unicorn has an excellent engine. But IMO Pulsar has good sitting posture.
    Can someone advise one good bike for me. Heard RE-TBTS is also a good bet.

        If you have suzuki showroom(SVC) nearby then blindly go for gs150r...55+ mileage ,great comfort, 6 gears which will help you in ride on highways. 6 th gear is as low as 30kmph.
        test drive gs150r and you will surely go for it.

          yes, gs150r all the way.. If price is a constraint also try yamaha szr.. But gs should be the first choice.

            How about the CB Twister... gives good mileage, about 70kmpl

                    dude any time u will compare gs150r with unicorn in every aspect gs will be winner, i dont have gs right now i am in a confusion which to buy in 150cc ?

                      IMO, the gs150R and unicorn go head to head in every aspect, but honda wins over suzuki with respect to the after sales and service centre availability.

                          here, in xbhp we don't accept figures from some random sites. You should be knowing that. Neither i own a unicorn nor a gs. And It's you who's promoting gs150r. Out of 5 posts you suggest gs for 4 people. And i don't want to start a brand war, again looks are subjective, for me unicorn looks better than gs.

                            as per my small search for 150cc commuter + mileage i have finally ended on gs150r.
                            and in city riding + performance i found pulsar 150
                            except r15 and cbr 150 as they are in different std.

                            i am in a confusion to buy gsr or not as svc is 135km away...

                              You are getting me wrong here brother. I never said that the gs150 is not a good bike, rather i clearly pointed out that performance wise they both are good and serve their purpose. I just commented on service point.
