    guys,

i'm planning to get one new bike. i'm thinking of cbr 150 or pulsar 220.

can anyone give some infos on either bikes.

in terms of speed? performance? maintenance? durability?

    thanks!

But, to give you subjective advice, you must also mention what prices either of these bikes are sold at in the Philippines. Because, here in India, the price of the CBR150R is almost 55-60% more than the Pulsar 220 so the bikes are not exactly comparable by the same yardstick.

Also, the CBR150R here in India is a very very new bike with nil long term reviews, by comparison, P220s have been around for over 5 years and most have done well in the test of time.

In an absolute sense, I have always recommended the P220 to anyone who has the requirement, but relative to a brand new bike, its hard to tell.

It would also help if you mentioned your
    1. Intended usage (Track / Street / Highway / Touring)
    2. Roads that you will encounter (Good / Pot-holed / Straights / Twisties)
    3. Estimated km / month
    4. Your Height and weight
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Finally got a CBR 150R carb type bike.

My 1st bike was a pulsar 200. I kinda miss the torque but the topend is very good at cbr 150. got 160kph tops on all stock engine with just a free flow exhaust.

The cbr is lightweight. i can lay my foot flat on the floor. smooth engine operation.

I'll post some pix later here later.

just for more torque and commuting lol look at the 150R released here. it makes 17.5bhp. the actual international one makes 19.5bhp and 17nm torque. which is way more than the international model r15. Yamaha attracts with look an power but Honda with mileage.... stupid Honda

Now they are bringing CRF250L dirt bike with CBR250 engine and 22bhp. Hope they wont bring a Honda Shine 250..
