I am with Samarth the best bike in 150 range is Dazzler but it's 10k more than your budget! it comes approx 86k+/- on road in mumbai.

Fact you can't denie is most of the fuel effecient bikes are from Bajaj with in very attractive prices. You are awesomely tall and a 100 cc is this a question!

50-55KMPL is very rare in city by any 150cc bike.

You can go with Yamaha SZr which has good build/technology and efficiency too. it will45-50kmpl in city.

Dazzler is good. but priced is more. Don't worry on kick start. if you use it daily then it's not an issue. Battery needs few check up in regular intervals

    Else Stunner is also good!

please don't assume that you will 50kmpl+ in city by any 150cc bike! it will vary.
Dazzy is pricy with nothing to offer ( feels like chinese product) , its shear waste of money from riding point of view , no feelings , no feedback, etc , comparatively Unicorn is gem and stands by honda name . No kick start is a curse for buying this expensive wheels , specially after 1-2 years , you will regret as SC has no answers . Honda has placed modified engine in 100 cc chassis to make it lighter.
150 cc bikes do return FE of 50 KPL+ in any city driving conditions like bajaj pulsar/discover/boxer 150 , suzuki GS150r , all proven.

Please help me to choose a good bike as I give out my choice of reasons for each bike.

TVS Apache RTR 160 OTR ~73k

I like TVS brand very much because they run very well without giving many problems and also their parts are cheap. As all my bikes from Max R to Fiero were from this company, I had not much problems with them. But a big no to Apache because, these TVS guys shutdown a product very soon. Apache 150 came and disappeared very soon and also I think they will shut down 160 because they are concentrating on 180 more nowadays. So can't guarantee these people, with 5 years their vehicles get disappeared. So this is the only reason no for Apache.

      Honda Unicorn 150 OTR ~76k

Good bike but waiting period simply disgusting and much hyped vehicle, certainly brand name Honda has value but also too much of ask for a simple vehicle. I rode this vehicle several times and the more it gets old it gets worst. Big not to Unicorn

Hero Honda CBZ Extreme or Hunk whatever OTR ~77k

Another Honda product with different name, sells for its name but now it's just Hero and there is not much to take from it.

      Yamaha FZ -16 OTR ~77k

I'm fan of Brand Yamaha from my childhood, not only bikes whatever they make right from musical keyboard to Racing bikes, they are the King.

I was big fan of RX100 and I wanted to own it but it didn't happen because when I started earning, petrol prices started soaring and the vehicle disappeared. When FZ was launched, I fell in love with her at first sight and it was my dream to buy this girl and I hope God will bless me with this one very soon

So I'm asking you guys, should I go for Yamaha FZ-16, and if I ride with steady speed of 45-55 km/hr, will I get the mileage of atleast 42 km/l. Please help guys, Am I doing right thing by going for Yamaha

      Thanks
As per your quots yammy is cheaper as they have not raised prices , it was expensive then 1/2 years ago by 8k. if FE is not your concern go for it , competition doesn't have answer for it in looks dept atleast

The question will be still their UNICORN, HUNK/XTREME?
Apart from this poll is more inclined towards HUNK/Xtreme.

If you have narrowed to these three then it will be Hunk !! Becuase it's chaep then Unicorn and it has the dual disc system + spare parts are available any where and good service network. Better than Honda netowork.

Unicorn is best but it's costly and spares are too costly than other competitors. it don't come with dual disc. good engine and service. but not that good with local mechanic.

If you plan to get Hunk,do get it with the read disc! front disc is not confidence inspiring (Rear one is from nissin so its really good)

Gone to honda showroom again and they told that the waiting period for cb unicorn is 3-4 months minimum, and he is telling if i pay 3-4k rs more then only i can get bike early, so not going to buy unicorn for more 3-4k

Now guys please suggest me HUNK or Xtreme

I know both are same but can u guys explain what's special in 'Xtreme' which makes it 1000rs more costlier than more than 'Hunk'?
I heard that new Xtreme vibrates alot at higher speeds, true?
Another Question is that This bike is gonna be my first bike so will rear disc brake helpful and easy to handle as i am not having experience in riding in riding bike with rear disc brake?
And whats the mileage of both the bike at 60-70kmph on highways?

Try SZR. Its good for your ride requirement. Even I travel 50km a day, part city, part highway. fuel economy varies but its consistent 40+ with pillion and at speeds 50-80kmph.
There are no short-cuts to any place worth going. So ride safe when you are treading uncharted roads.

Bro just believe me am also 6.2, hunk is a very good machine, riding posture, is very good for a tall person like me, I have rode the bike almost max 400km in a day on highways many times with pillion it is very good, mileage is not less then 40 in city and max I have got 55 also in city while driving good on 45-55kmph, looks are also good, a big bike feel you getting, comfort is good, max speed I reached is 112 (after all effort), handling, performance, stability at high speed everything is good as a 150cc bike.

The only problem I am facing is with front disc it was excellent till 5th service but after to that it is performing good as compare to before and i think this can happen in any machine with any part or could be a machine specific....
And I bought the single disc version just because of with though high maintenance, but it is not like that much high, as compare to drum...

CBZ got the new version after to hunk I think that is why they charging approx 1k more for it, engine is same you know already, just difference in techno meter and console with overall bike looks which is a personal choice...rest everything is same....

Was not quite happy with Szr so ruled it out.

Hey Manas, Hunk owner here. Xtreme and Hunk both are good. I'm not sure but i heard Xtreme is tuned for highways too , so it has good top end and vibrates less than Hunk.

Hunk will definitely gives you a big bike feel. After riding Hunk, every other bike feels small, and it feels very planted and stable at 60 Kph. Mileage wise , you can get 45-50 kpl.

From my view, I felt Hunk to be good handler than Xtreme during my test ride.

Go for a test ride and decide.

Any time Hunk !! but go with dual Disc!!

Both are identical mechanically!!! Go for the one which you feel looks better regarding the read disc,You might need time to get used to it but on the long run you will find it helpful.Try taking TD and decide whether you need the rear disc.

Dont know why honda have such a long waiting period.may be their production is slow...

I know both are same but can u guys explain what's special in 'Xtreme' which makes it 1000rs more costlier than more than 'Hunk'?

Actually its other way around . every bike has a RPM range in which it vibrates more. For pulsar its high, for xtreme its LOW. u get vibrations till 3K after that u enjoy ur ride and it gets smooth as u twist the throttle.Fun begins after 50 Kmph . first two gears can be quit shaking on ur hands.
Hunk Looks bigger than CBZ,but not much. Difference is Split seat/Digital console. Xtreme has no kick and i never had any starting problem,(except the relay changed recently).

Another Question is that This bike is gonna be my first bike so will rear disc brake helpful and easy to handle as i am not having experience in riding in riding bike with rear disc brake?

I would say whichever u choose,go for the rear disc as i dont feel rear brakes to be good enough .

CBZ is costly because it comes with expensive rear lights,Clip-ons, split seat...Also silencer looks better on CBZ! Ride both bikes & decide!!

About the varied mileage figures you are getting for Hunk/Xtreme, I think its because previous version of these two bikes (with analog consoles) came with 14BHP engine that was more frugal than the current 14.4BHP engine. Someone told me the 14.4BHP engine gives 45-50 and the 14BHP engine gives 50-55. Owners please confirm.
