What Bike Query Approved

I am afraid but none of the 100/110cc bikes available in the market today come with Disc Brakes. The sole exception to this rule being the Honda CB Twister. But it is substantially more expensive (~7k extra) than Discover 100 (5 gear) and doesn't have DC lighting and 5 speed gearbox.

Go for Discover 100cc 5 Gear model... It offers amazing efficiency!!!

I agree with that review completely!

Discover 100 really surprises me how a tiny 94cc engine can "feel" faster than the 110cc Dream Yuga or the 112cc Suzuki Hayate. I suppose is because of the gearing being focussed for speeds under 60 and the exhaus-tec boosting the bottom end torque. Its also more comfortable than its peers due to the amazing nitrox shock absorbers and the longer wheelbase (its significantly longer than Hayate - you can both SEE and feel it). And then there are those drums that I believe are the best in the segment - for drums. Bajaj's cheap spares mean you'll have little difficulty replacing the drums regularly for optimum braking. And last but not the least, DC lighting. This the most important when you return home through horribly lighted streets at night. Just take a short ride of all these bikes. The only complaint you could have about the Discover is maybe its narrow seat, and that can be fixed for Rs. 700.

But they're priced in league of 125cc bikes. Bajaj Discover 125 with Disc Brakes costs as much

Why not a 150cc ??

Yes it's a nice bike with nice price quote for indian people.
As you want to travel 30kms daily which is not so big distance, then why not a 135-150cc bikes??
You get better options in this court!!

There are 150cc which are giving around 60+/-kmpls overall. Unicorn/Dazzler, Pulsar 150cc, Yamaha SZr, Pulsar 135, Hero Achiever, etc, I guess apart drom Unicorn/Dazzler all are below 75K OTRs!! But please check though. These bikes are good in daily commuting with nice average!!
Yes any 100/110cc bike would give better mamooth average compare to any 150 or 135cc bike, but 150cc will have more good power/speed/ride quality then 100cc or 110cc.

Got the bike today, but the 4G one. Sales guy said 4G is good for delhi and it is selling more than 5G. I wanted a test ride, but I had a learner's license so he refused. If I had TR'ed it then I would have certainly gone for the 5G. Nevertheless, I am happy with it.

Yes both the reviews are very good and helpful. For me, it was between discover 100cc and twister. Finally, got discover 4G for ₹ 48172 whereas twister (disc) comes for ₹ 59276. An extra ~ ₹ 10000 for the disc + tubeless tyres.

I wanted the 5 geared but sales guy changed my mind. Ended up with a 4 geared.

What more can one ask for just 50k OTR Delhi and more savings afterwards.

True. Even Honda Stunner just 5k more than Twister.

Actually 30km is one side, so total is 60km. Thats why mileage was a concern.
If it was not I would have gone for 200ns. I didn't wanted to settle in between. I didn't had a permanent driving license, so could not TR any bike.

10K for Disc and Tubeless tyres are really worth, i would suggest that anytime Twister would be great with Tubeless, this are really boon on daily rides. When you could have gone for Ns200 which is close to 1L then a Twister with a great mileage is more better option here!! Don't see this 10k now, because in future you will really understand the use of Disc and speciall a Tubeless tyres.
