Okay ..so i have already selected the bike...yes ..its gonna be Ninja 250R for me..Please if some of you can share some things to keep in mind while buying. Need help from anyone having experience with this bike. There is only a single showroom in banglore for this bike.So please if anyone has something as an advice related to the showroom or the bike. Looking forward to a reply.

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Direct your question to NINJA ownership thread and target Vishwas and other senior people they will help you with the queries related to Ninja!! Good Choice!!
Before booking it think again!! Becuase if Ninja 2013 is about to be launched now or later then you will regret with the old model!! New one has far better looks and ABS option available!! Speak to dealer and get clarity!!

Bookings for older Ninja is closed and New 2013 Ninja 250 is expected soon. So you better wait for a while or call up ProBiking to check when the new one comes out.

Thanks for the replies.. ..2 weeks back I asked the showroom guys about the new ninja but they had no clue about it. They told me about new 650 instead. I will check again. If Ninja 2013 comes so soon to India then nothing better than that..!!!

But what if it comes 1 yr late ?? You won't loose anything!! It's better to get a new model then old one. First of all there are few issues with parts availability and SVC for Ninja, top of that if old model is closed then surely it will affect you too for parts!!

Don't know if the issue still persists or not but NINJA owners would give you right answers on this!! Earlier there were issues!!

DANG! There goes my secret plan of getting the current N250 for cheap while they launch the 2013 one... . And the new one doesn't make the current one any less accomplished.

Bajaj take their own sweet time in getting the Kwackers down, so you might have to keep your fingers crossed for some time...!

I don't think you would have got it with any discount ?? Becuase currently if you book a bike there is waiting period of 1-2 months, heard of 3 months too. So if you don't buy then any other person would buy it. The main reason is new Ninja is more costly then previous one. So cost wise isn't old one more better?

There is a thread in news section about new NInja check that!! That will help you to evaluate!!

Somen...currently PBK isn't accepting Ninja 250R booking; I don't know if it's nationwide, but heard it's from Chennai & one more place (not sure if it's Bangalore, Mumbai or Delhi); someone had posted the same in FB in addition to N250R ownership thread.

im pretty unsure of the fact that the booking s for the ninja 250 has been stopped because i booked mine like 2 weeks ago and should get my delivery in 2 days time.. and the new ninja releasing doesnot make the 2012 one bad!
i heard reviews about the build quality of the new ninja on the downside and it being a 300 which again would tear ur pockets !!

i have heard that the 250 r and 300r are gonna co-exist,not sure though.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                          #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

I understand you dont wish to tone down your 2012 Ninja. No one would say it is bad. But then it would be wise to wait a few days, get the new 250 / 300 - Than struggling for spares a few years later. Just my 2 cents.

Motorcycle USA quotes this about the Ninja 300:
