Hi allthis is my first post on xbhp, proud to be a part of xhbp biking community.I am posting this from my mobile as my pc is wrecked so i am very sorry for the typos &sh!t etc....Let me get straight to the point i am in need good performance bike. My needs are *it should be able to perform rather well in highways*needs some mileage (35 )*comfortable riding position(i am 169cm tall & skinny 50 kg)*budget (~1.2 lakhs, will take loan, suggest the finance option of the bike , can extend a little bit but not more)*refinement is needed but not a must, riding should be smooth on low and high rpms*should be able todo a little offroading as the roads near borders are rocky, should survive potholeswell these are my requirements and i really find p200ns a good option .will this beast satisfy me?? What do you think all options are welcomed even sugging other bikes is also ok..Thanks in advance.Yours sincerely Deepak

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

i would have suggested you r15 unless you had comfortable riding position as requirement.
secondly is r15 a good off-roader?i am not sure yet.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

Yes it is.. Refined engine, mileage, off roading to a certain extent due to mono-shock, comfortable, liquid cooled engine and hence technologically advanced..
ZMR-best mileage in its segment, more comfortable than any bike mentined by you, off roading to a certain extent due to GRS shocks, refined engine at all rpms a smooth ride.. Looks-personal.. But lacks top speed..
r15- out of question cause you need comfort and slight off-roading..
RTR-180- safest due to abs.. Refined engine, comfort etc etc i do not know as i never rode it!!
P220 would have been gr8 but engine refinement is a problem.. If it does not bother you muvh then include it!

but, mate 1st you need to gain some weight, then these heavy monsters will look good on you
But if i were you i would pick ZMR

For your requirements ZMR should do good, its most comfortable of the bikes you have listed, but it lacks top speed of the others except the RTR and the engine is quite refined too. R15 will have the best looks, nice engine, handles much better than the rest, a better performance compared to RTR and ZMR. Not so good for offroading due to the riding position and comfort. RTR 180 would be the cheapest of the list. Its a decent commuter bike. I can't say much about the comfort as I haven't ridden it yet. It lacks the power of the other bikes you have listed so if you are going on highways, don't expect it to give much in terms of performance. P200 NS is the most powerful of the bikes you've mentioned. It handles almost at par with R15. Riding comfort is pretty good. To make a better choice, have a test ride and decide on the comfort, because it differs from person to person.

P.S: Like someone mentioned above, 50Kg would mean that you would look a little awkward, gain some weight

ROFL ...LOL Deepak!! The most important is which riding style would you prefer ???
YOu have mentioned Street BIkes (RTR/NS200) Sports Bike(R15) Sports Tourer (ZMR)

You want a highway bike which should do a offroading, Then why not a Impulse ?? This save your money to good extent !!

NS200 is very comofortable bike with good power and speed. mileage of 25-35kmpl. Bajaj back up and if tyres are changed then surely can do offroading. But it's not for offroading. It's a street bike. And can good fair Highway too with good kmph on speedo.
RTR 180: Naah...If it's ABS then it's kool, a good city and highway bike. small Vibs are there at higher speed.
ZMR: Comfortable on highway, But i personally don't recommend this for city, becuase of big nature. No liquid cool, tyres are not that confidence type on high speed, which in deed gives good mileage.

R15: one of the best engineered bike, awesome handling, braking, stable on high speeds and better ecu for city, but i don't recommend this for city, and BIG NO for offroading.

If you are into some kind of off road terrain then it should be Impulse only, it's comfortable with average of 35-40kmpl. And hero back up, better ground clearance, etc

If no offraoder then NS200 any given day, big engine, better power, price<1L, comfortable and good handling.

                        Hi Deepak

I am no where a expert to suggest you a best bike from these four...but can share my experience when I test drove RTR 180. It has hell lot of power that is more than enough for city/ highways of our country. At budget of ~83K Non ABS,Dual Disc - on road Delhi , it is the excellent bike. My advice....never sit as pillion to nut RTR 180 driver, he can give you heart attack , such is handling and power of this machine. I can say this coz I sat behind such a maniac after taking its TD. Thats my experience of RTR 180.

Apart from it, I cannot comment on others. But you can look at P200NS too.....it looks good monster on road. My advice to you is, if you are taking loan for these bikes then better decide between P200NS or RTR 180 . They are cheaper than other two and are more than enough for our roads. At end of day, you would be smiling due to less EMI to be paid per month.

But i was thinking will RTR be comfortable with off roading ?? as he stays near to border area, i guess, RTR has little front leaning riding position, so i wonder!!

But lets see what he thinks after TD.

Right ! really cannot say about off roading requirement but I believe P200NS, RTR would be better in terms of off roading when compared to R15 or Karizma.
