I bought a used yamaha fz16 in a very good condition this Thursday. But suddenly today morning it is not starting . Even the digital console is not showing any display. I even tried to start it by moving it and releasing the clutch in first gear but of no avail. Any idea guys what the problem might be?

No use speculating here about a bike you know absolutely nothing about. Take/tow it to a mechanic, he will figure it out.Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
