I need suggestions and advices on getting a gear-less scooter.
Budget is 60.
It is for my girl friend - she is 5'5.
Primary usage will be running errands and some trips here and there.
Ride will be mostly with a pillion.
And the ride should be reliable.
Now the options,
1. Honda - Activa and Aviator and Dio:
Activa and Dio dont have telescopic suspension. On this Kolkata roads, its difficult without that.
Aviator is a bit too big for her.
2. Suzuki - Access and Swish:
Swish was my personal choice. But had to rule them out as there is no service center (atleast thats what I have seen from their website).
3. Yamaha Ray:
It is shortlisted so far. However, being a new launch, I do not see much of review on this one. But I trust the brand Yamaha
and little biased towards it.4. Tvs Wego:
It is also shortlisted. And with bigger wheeles, goodies like body balance tech, easy to put center stand etc makes this one a hands down winner among the available Indian scooters.
So, to sum it up, I have two options left now, Ray and Wego.
Help me finalize one among them - with reasons. Once I get your approval, will book it this week and planning to take delivery on 8th Dec [Her b'day]
If you feel any the other scooters I have ruled out already can be a better option, please justify.
Thanks

takes a bit of stretching to fill up pertol on a wego. I recommend wego. I've ridden activa, pleasure, aviator but this one is really a good vehicle. its ultra flickable you can just zip around in traffic. Mileage is not bad you get around 45 - 50 (sane riding - economy band). Its got a easy (EZ) center stand. i've never seen my mom putting my kinetic honda on its center stand, but in this its easy for her. Its got broader seats to help with comfort on long rides. Overall a good package considering the price. (53k on road cochin). Aviator's costly so is activa. Do test ride every vehicle and also ask ppl about their service quality. Here my place I find Tvs service is better than honda's
