FZ-S or Unicorn
I am posting this on behalf of my friend who needs to get a bike for commuting short distances in the city. He is expecting a FE of 35 and above. Daily commute will be around 35 km. Ride should be comfortable for both rider and pillion. A ride that weighs less is preferable. Budget is around 75k so if there are any other suggestions they are welcome too. I've personally suggested FZ-S. He wants to get more opinions before he books one. Help him out please

Thread ApprovedAdvice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

FZ-S and FZ cost more than 75k, I believe FZ-S will cost atleast 5k more than Unicorn.
FZ is way above Unicorn in terms of low end torque, styling, features/technology (o-ring chain, LCD speedo, fat rear tire etc)
Unicorn wins in engine refinement, mileage (unbelievable mileage 150cc can give!), pillion comfort.
AFAIK, FZ weighs less than Uni.

something from hero stable will do.and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.
