  • Gearless scooter for my sister.

Looking for a gearless scooter for my sis. Apparently a newbie rider and a fragile (156cm, 48 kg) creature. Main needs are city commuting and a bit of highways. Looking for something which gives good mileage and is reasonably priced. Vespa omitted due to price, scooty for the lack of power, duro too powerful according to parents and Activa as she hates it for no particular reason.
    Zeroed up on the following:
Yamaha Ray- comparatively packed with goodies and pretty good styling and power. Not so sure about it's reliability.
Honda Dio- Good power, CBS, looks. Booking period an issue.
TVS Wego- No particular idea about it. Worth it?
Hero Pleasure- Dad has a bit of affinity towards it. And seems okey too. The hero tag without honda is pulling me away.
Hero Maestro- Activa with a different look, good enough.
Suzuki Acess- A bit heavier on my views. Can also be considered.
Hope I get fast responses, She's eating my head off...

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

You have not mentioned any preferences - do you prefer power or looks or comfort?
Pleasure or Ray should suit most female riders really well. The Wego is also an excellent vehicle with telescopic suspension and alloy wheels - something not found in competing models. The Vespa has been through significant price drops and is now priced at par with Activa/Access.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Comfort is the main preference. And may be some looks too... what's vespa's current price?
