Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

RE is a completely different segment from Sport-touring bikes like the P220/ZMA. Please tell us more about your preferences and do check the threads below for similar discussion:

TBTS or the 220, 350 TBTS , because since you are a student , the 500cc bullet or the TB500 doesn't make much sense and the maintenance charge will be much more. At the same time the 220 is pretty cheap to maintain and great for touring.

My votes goes to Royal Enfield Bullet 350. It is blessed with front disc brake that not only enhance the look of the machine but ensure instant braking. The Royal Enfield bikes are most comfortable among bikes in India. The seat comes in step-up style and very comfortable.

If you think you can be punctual in maintenance, then the p220 is the ideal fun packed and feature packed choice. You get good power pickup, great looks, great handling and comfort, great projector lights, awesome cheap maintenance, good average and mind blowing price. Or else go for the only other "safe" choice: Karizma R. This baby's got a good engine and great handling. Looks are pretty dated though(nothing changed since 2003 except stickers!)

Re: Please help me choose a bike.

RE bikes doesnt suits for 18yrs student to go to college. So you have to choose Karizma or P220. Since P220 handle bars are little sporty & you are fatty. So Karizma will be a better choice.

I can't understand the relation between 18 years and RE. If he is having the size and is ready to live with a RE there is nothing wrong in getting a RE. Moreover he wants to tour. So I think TBTS is a good option
