As you are 6 feet tall like me(6'1"), i feel fz can never be comfortable for you and will look like giraffe sitting on cycle(i.e. its way too small size) so it will always be a good bet to buy a pulsar 200NS, dont worry on its reliablity as effort made by bajaj is too good on it.
BTW why dont you consider karizma R?, Atleast i felt its a too good bike and comfortable for people like us(6 footers)."Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever"

Kool Jack : Do you know that your post and that too 1st post in the forum, makes you look like an immature lad??
Anyway : To begin with, putting FZ & 200NS in the same category in itself doesn't do any justice. Totally different bike with quite a lot of difference in Performance. If you wat a bike purely for City rides & nothing more then don't waste money on 200 NS because it's capable of much more than that. Tech wise too, I would rate 200NS a notch higher than Fz.
And don't just make randon statement that "I heard Pulsar bikes are not reliable""HASTA LA VICTORIA, SIEMPRE !" - Chesigpic

Bro , Why you expect others to judge or recommend which bike will suit you ?? We are not you, different people have different thoughts and personality.Originally posted by kool jack View PostMyself i am 6 feet tall and weigh 54kgs........ my budget is 1L...have a lot of confusion for which one to go fz or NS ....it should give mileage of around 35 atleast....i love the looks of both fz and NS but i feel fz has an edge over NS....but when it comes to power ,torque there is no comparison....NS is long way ahead.....bike is mostly for city rides....and i heard pulsar bikes aren't that reliable........but what ab NS......guys owning NS please help me out.....so pls suggest which bike best suits me of this two or any other.....for tall guys like me would NS be a better choice??......and i am not interested in avenger enfield because they are way too heavy for me to handle
The best eternal way is "TEST RIDE" several times which ever bike you are shortlisting.
No showroom person will stop you from long ride of atleast 5kms or more. Just pay them the petrol. After all they want their sale to happen.
Test ride will give you the best idea about it's handling/performance/comfort/suitability etc...
And I see who have already answered your own query which bike suit you the best :

Now bajaj is way ahead then it's histories...so NS is no doubt a good bike..Originally posted by kool jack View Postand i am not interested in avenger enfield because they are way too heavy for me to handle..
FZ is now old tech, model and missing few features as well.Last edited by Guest; 03-11-2013, 02:22 PM.

Test ride as advised by others. Again, in terms of specs, performance etc, NS is way above.Originally posted by kool jack View Postthought of having advice from u guys

I would suggest you to go for Pulsar 200 NS.Originally posted by kool jack View PostMyself i am 6 feet tall and weigh 54kgs........ my budget is 1L...have a lot of confusion for which one to go fz or NS ....it should give mileage of around 35 atleast....i love the looks of both fz and NS but i feel fz has an edge over NS....but when it comes to power ,torque there is no comparison....NS is long way ahead.....bike is mostly for city rides....and i heard pulsar bikes aren't that reliable........but what ab NS......guys owning NS please help me out.....so pls suggest which bike best suits me of this two or any other.....for tall guys like me would NS be a better choice??......and i am not interested in avenger enfield because they are way too heavy for me to handle
As said, Fz cant even catch the smoke of Pulsar 200 NS, as there is a Huge difference in technology & a difference in Displacement.
Coming to the Pulsar 200 NS, i say its the Best value for money Bike in 200cc segment.
The way Bajaj worked hard on it, & gave some Different technology which is latest of the day.
The 4 Valve triple spark engine delivers thrilling performance at all speeds, a better power & mileage as it is triple spark.
Liquid cooling, mono suspension, 6 speed gear box which makes FLY
The petal discs & underbelly exhaust are latest features from Bajaj.
One thing you will love in Pulsar 200 NS is its power. I say its even more powerful than the Pulsar 220.
The stuff i disliked in the Pulsar 200 NS is its tail section. It looks Identical to the Pulsar 135. Bajaj would have worked well on the Tail section & make it look different from all Pulsars. The tyre's pattern too isnt that great, but provides exceptional Roadgrip. Coming to Reliability of Bajaj, I say Bajaj's bikes are Reliable both in city & highway, But dont expect them to be the Only Best in Reliability & im sure you wont be hurt by the word RELIABILITY OF BAJAJ. They are good enough.
I am sure you will enjoy Riding the Pulsar 200 NS both in city & highways.
Coming to Fz, i own one.
Fz is a Great machine. Many features in Fz & 200NS are similar such as mono shocks, fully digital instrumentation, Naked styling, C.O.M etc.
Good in city, coming to performance, it performs well, the styling is great.
Looks massive from all angles. Handling is really good.
Mileage figures are decent.
But Fz is outdated in terms of Engine technology. For those who want to maintain a high speed, Fz's Highway performance is not so impressive.
So its a modern world, go for a Modern bikes with whole lots of goodies.
GO FOR THE PULSAR 200 NS
Royal Enfield Bullet Standard 350cc 1989, Bajaj Avenger 200-2009, Pulsar 200 NS 2015.
