      Hi AceHunter,
I don't think you can expect 45kmpl from either R15 or P220. As you intend to commute mostly on it, I would suggest Apache RTR160 Fi. I'm ruling out the others (including FZ, since you seem to be more inclined towards sporty bikes). My friend has picked it up&is very satisfied with everything-practicality, cost of maintenance&running costs too. It is consistently giving him 50kmpl.in city. Personally I liked the GunMetal color best&had almost gone in for it!

R15 wont give you the required mileage so i would suggest a RTR Fi. I dont know 220's mileage so cant comment.

Go for RTR Refresh as you tour less and commute more, heard RTR FI has some niggles, they will be resolved soon though.. if it get resolved go for RTR FI.
Man you stay in Chennai, so considering the track so near i would not recommend P220 if you plan to hit the track often and mileage "Atleast 45" is not possible with R15/P220.

I am also planning to buy the same bike but in a month as I'll be getting 2009 make then.

I am planning to take mat. Grey color. But Orange in FI looks really good.

Yes, yellow is really good and comes with a premium of 1000 bucks.

This thread is going to be a sure hit!

@Hunter: What do you mean by 'stunning'? You mean the looks of the bike?

Your signature states that that you are looking for two bikes. Which is the other bike - a multicylinder beast?

@Mods: This thread should have been moved to Pit-stop and Biking Discussion section. For this thread would go for atleast a year but the objective still not met.
