Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Is it a Pulsar 200 or the 200NS? If it is the NS, go for it!

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Unless you're a fan of Yamaha, I feel Pulsar 200 since you can also get it at a better price too.

If you can tell us which bike, which model, how many km on odo at what price, then we may give you a better idea.
If you also tell us what you like to have in your bike and your city we may give you to the point replies.

                    2008 model P200 = not more than 30,000, ...ideally between 25,000 to 30,000.

The bike is quite old in terms of years. In terms of odometer its less used. When i see something like this i calculate km/day on the bike. Its coming around 14 km/day. Anything between 10-20 km/day is a good figure. Anything above is extensive usage and anything below is having all the probability that the odo is tampered/changed.

Also have a look at the manufacturing date on the front tire to validate usage.

If the cost suits you and market price, go for it. In 38,000 you may get any 150-220 cc bike of 2010-2011 make. (R15s exception)

OT- Bought a preowned i10 1.2 Magna a week back using the same calculation.

                        My opinion,
                        FZ :
                        Very refined Engine,
                        Sorta Vibe free
                        Mileage same as Pulsar 200
                        Very Comfortable
                        Good road grip
                        Better looking than p200

                        Pulsar 200 :
                        Not as comfortable as FZ
                        Not vibration free as FZ
The only +1 would be speed.

You could go for the FZ, unless you want to drive above speeds 90kmph. FZ loses its breath once it reaches 90 !
"Madness", as you know, is a lot like gravity, all it takes is a little push !

If the P200 is in excellent condition that you can go for it around 35000
