Details such as gear ratio etc of P200NS is not available even in its owners manual and as you do not like it, R15 with 16.8 bhp at 8500 and 15 Nm at 7500 RPM and with a comfortable speed of about 120 kmh at 8500 RPM is better than CBR150R. More than that R15's is a square engine.

200NS also has a oversquare engine......

NS is value for money and there are problems with any bike if you dont run-in properly.....NS has a great and powerful engine.......
And the bikes you offered in selection..only ns is a naked bike.... I would say if you want sheer performance at right cost go for ns...it has low maintenance cost too.....just that the tyres are too bad....
          For r15 its a complete bike....but a costlier 150cc..although it is better than a cbr150 anyday....
I would say check for Duke200....just a little bit costlier than the r15....but thats one of a sheer high quality performance bike...and yet value for money....it will never bore you.....its revvy engine will entertain you everytime you push the throttle......

Except few things like pass flash switch, engine kill switch and low quality switch gears, CBR 150R is the best bike you can go for. . . Amazing bike. . .

              Cheers!!!

I am an R15 owner for past almost 5 years, Its a very good ride. Yet I would suggest CBR 150. She is relatively more comfortable to ride, She breathes better than R15 and when you ride hard it screams higher than R15.

I too hear there is lot of room for improvement towards service quality and parts availability, but I presume its not unbearable.... Cost difference can be ignored when spending this much I suppose..

Stay out of NS if you want to own her long term..

                Cheers!

There's one gentleman in particular on this forum whose biking life is limited to *gear ratios*. Please beware of him.

                      For Best Styling = R15
                      For Comfort+Styling = CBR150
                      Value for Money = P200ns

Re: PULSAR 200ns or Yamaha R15 or Honda CBR 150

@Thread starter: I own a Yamaha FZ-S and a Bullet Electra 5S and I have covered over 70000 kms on these motorcycles combined. And even as an owner of these two motorcycles, I can confidently tell you that CBR150R's lack of torque factor is simply over-hyped. One of my friends own a CBR150R and I have ridden it quite extensively (solo and with a pillion). Even when I ride either my FZ or the bullet on daily basis, I immensely enjoy my friend's CBR150R whenever I get to ride it in traffic. Yes, noticeably my bullet and FZ seems to pull better from dead stop, but I have never felt CBR150R's low torque to be alarmingly low or frustrating even in Delhi traffic. Besides this point, I am only impressed with CBR150R. The CBR revs very high (pretty easily upto 11000rpm) and it actually gives you a huge rpm range to play with any single gear. My riding experience tells me that the 3rd gear in most traffic situations is best to be in when you are on the CBR150R and I don't have to go down a gear pretty much. Only when cruising at a decent speed in a high gear like 5th or 6th, you may have to come down couple of gears if you feel the need to charge suddenly. That isn't too bad in my opinion. At least I have never felt frustrated with it yet.

As far as my experience and eventually opinion is concerned, CBR150R is wonderful to ride in traffic. It has a shorter wheelbase which makes it very easy to flick in traffic and on decent lean it is extremely stable too even with a pillion (unless you are overenthusiastic in that situation). CBR's engine is DOHC, and though you'll be told that DOHC don't hold any significant advantage over R15's SOHC since both are small capacity engines, the CBR revs more freely and quicker than R15. And it is noticeable as well. However, both motorcycles have similar performance overall.

I would say you would definitely not go wrong if you choose the CBR150R, as well as with R15 and NS. But I have never ridden NS, so can't comment on it. But it's been proven quite good so far as well. Test ride all three if you can arrange one, each one offers power a bit differently though NS would be pretty quicker than both 150CCs. It may boil down to your personal preference in the end. So ride them!

                          Go with NS200....VFM...

The only miss is FI from NS200...But the power it delivers is something over and above CBR150 or R15.

So unless you are Yamaha/Honda Fan or Faired bike crazy..... and want to go by perfect use of CC then for NS200.

Vibration are nothing like you can live with??

what about the tires of 200NS, they say it's not good it's a hard compound tire and it's not suitable for wet ride as it makes the bike skid and one more thing which I have read in blogs and heard by few the BRAKES and also FI not to forget that as both CBR and R15 has that. . . So, in my opinion it still needs little more improvement, . .
