Hi,
I was using a 2018 model Yamaha FZ25 until last year. I sold it and currently looking for a relaxed ride mostly for city and intra city (40-100kms) occasional trips. RE Classic or Bullet fits well, but cannot shell out 2.4 lakhs for a new one. What I'm looking for a comfortable seat like that of RE or Jawa (No split seats) and easier for ladies to sit for short trips.
I'm in my early 40s and not looking for sports bikes. Something with 17-20bhp reliable engine and carry lady pillion comfortably. FZ25 has split seat which was not much comfortable for pillion.

Few options shortlisted:

1. Honda Hornet 2.0 - It has split seats. But, this is said to be reliable and comfortable for pillion rider too.
2. RTR 160 4V - It fits well. The problem is, I had used RTR 180 brought new in 2009 till 2020. It is very boring. Besides the riding posture is sporty.
3. Used RE Classic 350 ABS or Bullet ABS (2019 & above) - The cost is still high for a used RE motorcycle - 1lakhs above. I know it needs more maintenance. Besides, the old UCE engine is replaced for new, which is unappealing. I saw few of the classics & bullets. Amused to see few had already gone through engine rebuilds at 40-45K kilometres. I had only owned CI Bullets that too a decade back. The ride was comfortable, maintenance was high. Is it the same with UCE also?
4. Used Jawa 42 - The nearest service centre is in Edapally, Kochi around 38-40kms from my location Muvattupuzha, Kerala. Will this brand survive? Also, the rusting and parts quality issues still a problem? If it is reliable, less maintenance this will perfectly fits my need.
5. Yamaha FZ-X - This is a good choice with single comfortable seat. It's an FZ16 I know. But, the power seems very less 11.5bhp.
6. Hero Xpulse 200T - Is this still available? Will this model comes with 200cc 4V engine. Also, engine reliability - any feedbacks.

I'm inclined to buy Hornet 2.0 or a used RE Classic/Std. What will you recommend? Any other choices?
