      Thanks.
      Was it worth the wait?

I like bullet coz it give a macho and male feel , well the sound make me crazy.

On the other hand YZF R15 is too sporty and I heared various feedbacks about it which are positive.

I don't care about budget , my budget is 1.20 lakhs.

Also fuel efficiency doesn't matter for me , but yes , I don't like to always run for maintainance in my bike except the periodical servicings...

        Ansh
        seriously what the hell...

        anyhow
the bullets are for people who just can be forgiving. the bullet has its share of problems and demands attention. its not a commuting bike at all. even on long runs its not meant to be ridden above 70 .. its not safe to go beyond since a bull cant brake fast enough.

the r15 isnt a commuter bike as well. its more of a track bike. even though its a good tourer, the zma isnt behind.

After riding pulsar 220 upto 1 year I just put my head with my both of hands by facing a heck of problems-
        1. poor/unprofessional service (nagpur)
as if R15 owners are happy with their service. after all people still are from the same place, whether they work at BAL,HH or TVS or YAMAHA
        2. Availability of spare parts- oil pipe puncher/bush , stickers, iron fuel pipe , gauge locker. (nagpur)
yamaha also has spare parts issues, check in your area before buying

        3. Disc brake pads - not upto ther mark . inclination angle not too good.
if you own a bull after this then you'd probably say the bull has no brakes
and seriously you have no idea about the pain you have to endure for maintaining a bull... bull has its own place even though its inefficient, slow, and not at all modern.

i guess the guy wants a sport tourer.
@ansh: save some money and get a k1200gt or something(considering you got a busa).
@aryan: this thread sure is going nowhere !
but a comparison can be done on which is a better tourer - bull or r15(considering the numerous posts bout how good r15 is on highways too).

yeah alrite its bout the feel, passion, etc, etc... peace...!!! leave me alone.

I faced the same dilemma sometime ago. First I wanted a TBTS. Then I thought about going for the R15(purely a budgetary conclusion). After sometime, I wanted an Electra 5S. Finally I made up my mind to go for a Machismo 500LB which I booked recently. Coming to you Ansh , the R15 IMHO is your best bet. REs traditionally have niggling issues which require some attention from the owners. So, the R15 is a better proposition for you.

@ All : Kindly don't turn this thread into a 'Abuse Ansh(?) for free' thread. We xBhpians surely have better ethics to warrant such behaviour

The mods viz. Aryan da is doing a fine job of dealing with the thread starter.

The comparison between a Bull (Im guessing a Machismo 500LB) and The YZF R15 is purely due to the same price range that the two fall in. The 1 lakh plus bracket.

Also, the 500LB is the only Bull that actually has some performance credibility. Hits 60 in roughly 5 secs etc..
So one can't completely lambast the fellow for comparing the two.

              Cheers..!!

I agree with MavericK46, 2 different bikes at the same price range is all there is to it. Jayprashanth's post is testimony to this.

Okay, I just wanted to request all of you ONE thing - We are not really the right people (or the authority for that matter!) to decide who owns which bike or not. A member wants some help regarding choosing between two (or more) machines, and I sincierly think we should just advice him regarding the same.

This thread has seen way more OTs and some heated arguments amongst members than it is normally seen in other threads. There are a few members who I thought to be really responsible ones but have shown a little immaturity when dealing with either certain posts (or members) which they thought were a 'bait' inviting them to be 'rude' or 'harsh'.

Anyhow, this is the last time. Any more flaming, wars, etc., this thread will be locked. We talk so much about the so called 'biking brotherhood' and 'peace' and I don't know what not, but I wonder when it comes to personal vendetta, we sure like to blatantly blast off through our posts. Really immature stuff, this, according to me atleast (other might and I know WILL surely disagree).

I thought we all are brothers here. Anyways...

                    Thread cleaned up! Nice!

R15 or TBTS: It would be R15 for me. Low maintenance. Enough power. Awesome high speed tourer. Bullet TBTS - More of an exotic bike. If you have that special love for it, you wouldn't even be putting up a thread for decision. Nothing can replace the love for a Bullet. Period

OT:I was reading something about the 500bhp Octy on Team bhp. Somebody started an argument and the fight continued for 15 long pages with mods not even caring to say the least. Glad everything is kept on check here.

Both bikes are great. But after comparison of these two bikes I would prefer Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 for you. Thunderbird has been a big success for Royal Enfield. The bike is short of wings, it has all the power and glides like a bird, but for the lack of wings.

i guess uptil now Thread started would have changed 3-4 more bikes and would be waiting for D390 or N300R or something else... lolz...
we should use the same thread to discuss:

would a Duke 390 is a good purchase or a Thunderbird 500 with projector lamps.. or shall i wait for Yamaha R-25 ?

See i am a tourer but i get to tour only once a year.
and i want to buy the bikes as soon as either is launched and..
my budget allows me to buy even a S1000RR but i want to use it only for City purpose so a small bike like TBTS500 or D390 or N300R...

                          frens please advice me...
