  • help me choose a bike.

    Hello everyone,
I want a performance cum low maintenance bike. Milage is not a big concern.
    My weight-65 kg
    height-5 6
    Budget-90-95k
    Age-25
Daily commute- solo 15-45 km a day ( it fluctuates) in chandigarh city, here traffic is moderate and i can reach upto 70-80 km/h easily, i have ridden pulsar 180 for 2 months and loved it.
Highway touring- may be once in a month.
    preference- 200 ns, rtr 180 abs, r15 v 2 and a strict no to zmr, duke 200,cbr 150.

    Personal opinion
I have test ridden rtr 180 (non abs), good braking and acceleration, vibrations are negligible only console was making vibrating noise when i reached 70 km/h ( is it an issue with rtr 180 ?)
Liked its look (white color), sound, braking and acceleration.
R15 v1 i have ridden it for 200 km on horrible roads but simply loved its handling, braking, looks and acceleration. ( I love v2 looks)
Pulsar 200 ns ridden only for 20 feet liked its looks and console .Can't say much before a good test ride.
If i opt for r15 v2 then i will buy it used which are available in good condition here ( say 80-90k for a bike 2k- 6k ridden).
    Please advice
    I am loving my NS

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Hi .i'm also a person like your needs .if you are looking for a pure performance
And a bike every one can afford. ..in my opinion the 200 ns is a good option all the parts are cheep and compared to r15 version's it much quicker ...and in your budget it will concern. Also the ktm duke 200 an awesome mechine but a little costly. ..but in all terrain its a winner...
Offering a wide range of happiness in your life it will lead you up to some other places...like hevan experienced the day before yesterday. ..oh great

You already have your preferences. If test drives point you towards 200NS, go for it, though I am not sure about your height comfortability. R15, on the other hand is more reliable but a bit costlier than your other consideration. Apache will have vibrations as you experienced but overall its an extremely VFM bike.

Go through the reviews on the above bikes and read what members have to say about their power delivery & niggles and maintenance. It will clear your mind.
