  • help me to Choose my first bike..!

    Hey Guys...!
I have read lots of post here but still so much confused.
I want to a buy a bike price budget is 2L approx.
I tried R15 V2 is not so good for me, next i had recently drive my friends Pulsar 200NS solo from Chennai to Bangalore is was quite good.
I used to drive mostly in city and rarely on highways (1.5k-2k km a month approx) so please suggest me bike accordingly and let me know about mileage also.

    Thanks.
    Regards,
    RaJa

    Query Approved
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

As you said you ride more in the streets, there are two hooligans which come in that price tag, Duke200 and Duke390, both are excellent machines and you should be more careful with the Duke390 and Duke200 is something like NS but more hooligan, it's like we can say 200NS is a budget bike for those who can't afford D200 but if you can better get that one. . . Or else if you wish to wait for some more time, wait for the Pulsar375 or bikes from other manufacturers which you might like. . . IMO it's best to wait and choose from the multiple options rather than to buy something now and having two minds later. . .

      Cheers!!!

If you have already tried 200 NS, try Duke 200. Either of the two should fit the bill. Although Duke is a bit aggressive but enjoyable for city rides, it deserves a test ride. There are many bikes releasing in the future but exact dates and models are yet to be confirmed.

What is the current status you're talking about, mate? I thought you have ridden R15 V2 and 200 NS, out of which you liked 200 NS; when did D200 come into the picture?

Nevertheless, D200 is a good choice, go ahead! and I have a feeling that you are already inclined towards it - Your first query was in the D200 ownership thread so it's pretty obvious.

D390 ain't gonna come within 2Lac, on road price is a bit high. While D200 is well within your budget, choice is yours!

Since you have mentioned the most of your riding is in the city.. So D200 would be a better choice..

                    Ride safe and have fun.

Obviously D390. As it is in your budget. Plus for Rs 5x,000 more you get.
                      1. Bosch abs
                      2. Metzeller tyres
                      3. 22 more horses

So go for D390 if it is D200 vs D390. No second thought.

Duke 200 is the best pick... But cbr250 if you want a big bike feel and pillion comfort.
