  • Choosing bike for my friend!!

    Hello guys
My friend who is going to get a bike this Jan 1st is confused to take which one. He was interested in fz-s three to four months ago but when he rode a friend's fz-s he didn't like the new kinda handle bar which differs from the old one.

He likes a bike which is like fz-s (naked one). My suggestions to him were
Go for pulsar 200ns or Duke 200
But his budget is exactly 90k.
Suggest us a good bike seniors!!!

    Thanks
    Cheers!!!!

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

You really can't suggest him duke 200 or the NS, when clearly his budget is exactly 90k. You could tell him to try the Fazer.
Some additional details would be really welcome.

Ask him to try Apache RTR180, additional details means what is his height, his weight, requirements like comfort, performance, top end or FE, is he a tourer or just a street user, etc., Please provide this so we can suggest him the best available or else we'll suggest randomly. . .

          Cheers!!!

Arond 5ft :O, that's all. . . Best ask him to go for Apache mate, looks good for short riders, best for street as compared to FZ, quick, performer, handler and superb braking system. . . Ask him to test ride it once and if he likes it, to book it . . .

              Cheers!!!

Get Apache, And since he cannot extend budget 10k more ,he's missing the dream ride(p200ns)

P-NS for a 5 feet, 60 kg guy? It's going to be really tough for him to handle it. My friend's around 5'4 or 5'5 and he told me he has trouble keeping his P150 upright..he has to stand on the balls of his feet to maintain the balance... I sincerely wonder how your friend's going to handle a bike of more or less of that height.

Anyway, how bout the Bajaj Avenger? It's a pretty neat, and more importantly low ride..you could consider that.

Ooh sorry and thanks for telling ,200ns is not for people smaller than 5'5 if you intend to use it for daily purposes ,according to the height ,yes avenger is best suited

Advice him to get either FZ-S/FAZER/CB TRIGGER/UNICORN. All of them are within his budget, appropriate for his height and weight and are very good @ their job. Specially the first three has stayed in the market for long enough to justify their credentials. Or Apache180 if he can compromise with engine refinement and smoothness.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Apache RTR 180 is perfect choice (The ABS would be even better but on road price will go slightly beyond 90k). Avenger would fall in the budget don't know if he wants a cruiser also it would be bit heavier, not sure if a 5 ft 60kg guy would be comfortable in handling it in parking lots. Apache is typical bike for shorties, best performance and VFM.
