I had started a thread on What Bike about 6 months ago before I started my college but my father advised me to view the situation in college and then decide. Need less to say I followed his advice and need help in choosing a new bike which fulfill the following parameters :
1. Budget : 75 k
2. Age : 19
3. Height : 5'10
4. Weight : 70 kgs
5. Intended usage: travelling from college to Patiala city ( approx 12 kms each way ) , slight city use in Patiala ; Trips from Patiala to Delhi and back ( 250 kms each way ) ; sporadic touring twice a year.
6. Fuel Efficiency requirement : No such requirement
7. City & Highway percentage usage- City 25% Highway 75%
8. Approximate Monthly running : 800 kms
9. City / Town /Village of residence : Patiala
10. Brand / Bike type preference : None
To be noted-
-I will be purchasing the bike from CSD ( Canteen Stores Department ) so price will be approx 7% less than in civilian market.
- Pillon seat is important as 75% f the time there will be a pillion
