  • Bajaj Pulsar 150

    Hi,

I am planning to purchase Bajaj Pulsar 150, however not able to take an appropriate decision.

Bajaj has launched 4 valve technology and monoshock in discover and higher end Pulsar models. Should i go ahead and purchase the bajaj pulsar with normal 2 valve engine and twin shock or should i wait as 4 valve and the monoshock technology which may come in pulsar 150 cc later.

    Thnx,
    Ravish

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

IMO those features coming to pulsar is not too soon and I don't think they are going to update this to such a level. . . You have got any plans for considering any other bike. . ? Please give us your requirements and usage, so that we can help you out with and also not to forget, your budget please. . .

      Cheers!!!

There have been no official announcements (not even any kind of leaked news) that the existing P150 would be upgraded to 4valve engines or monoshocks. It might take months before something of that sort actually comes along. If you are looking to buy a bike on priority, you'd rather stick to the current options.

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Thnx Rakesh and bbsrailfan for your advice..

I made my mind to go for pulsar and will purchase pulsar 150 only.

Is it a right to purchase pulsar 150 or should i wait for newer model of pulsar 150 ..

I suggest you wait for the new Pulsar, but this new Pulsar will not be a commuter like the old ones I think. The ride quality would be like that of Pulsar 135LS, a rev happy but not so back pampering ride.

thnx Cleaner for your suggestion, your point seems to be valid..
however, area of concern is how much should i wait.

                Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150

Sorry to interrupt, but I always say, never ask opinion when choosing a vehicle or studying, go for the one you like after test driving. New products are always on the launch every month, with new technology and even more added features in the same bike that you bought this month would have more good features the next month. It's always a catch up game. Go for the one you like, which you've test driven, which you think would suit you and then go for it.

Four valves are better than two valves, monoshock is way better than dual shocks, but that doesn't mean they the older models aren't shy of any juice, but at a pricepoint that Bajaj offers these things, these are really excellent VFM proposition.

                Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                THE END
