want to buy ktm 200 but i am pretty confused :( need your help ..

    want to buy ktm 200 but i am pretty confused :( need your help ..

    Hi friend
    After riding Honda Stunner for 3 years(2009-2012), now i planned to buy duke 200 then some duke owners told me duke 200 needs high maintenance cost like battery and chain spocket change(ever year) ,coolant refill(ever month)..and so many things.... am right about duke200???
    So i decide to go for HONDA cbr 150 or YAMAHA R15 or fz16 .. here confusion began ...
    I am 5"7 ,office going . i have to travel 25 km everda. Stopies and wheelis are something that i cant live without. I am not racer kinda person who needs higher cut off speed. I dont care for pillion rider comfort as i do'nt have any.
    please guide me i need ur valuable suggestions...

      1. Avoid SMS lingo here.
      2. Avoid stunting on public roads. If you cannot live without stoppies and wheelies on public roads, then stop riding! You're a danger and burden to BLR traffic in the first place.
      3. Re-learn riding under some senior/sensible rider when you can live without stunting on public roads, we'll help you.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

        Thanks for suggestions. you took it in some other way .I want to inform you that Stunts are not performed in traffic . I am dissapointed with your reply where you named me as a danger and burden to BLR traffic .I suggest you to be positive and i appreciate your knowledge about do'nt and do of riding but that was not i asked in my query .

          So you mean to say, you do all stunts apart from your 25 km travel to office on a secluded road? From your post (quoted below again) suggests otherwise. Regarding your query, get a Duke and enjoy the wheelies till you can! Peace!

            Welcome to Xbhp firstly, please refrain yourself from using SMS language here. . .

            Duke 200 vs Pulsar 200NS: PowerDrift - YouTube watch this video, you can skip to the latter part where they compare the bike for it's stunting skills, you'll have an idea as to which will be good for you. . .

            Other than this, the above three bikes you say, CBR150R and R15 are best in their class. . . Fz seems to be underpowered now. . . So why don't you watch the video and try for NS too. . ?

            PS: Am asking you to consider to 200NS if you are not so YES with D200. . .

              Go for duke...yes it demands more maintanence but in return you will be getting amazing performance..
