Wego or Jupiter

    Wego or Jupiter

    Hello All,

    I was looking forward to buy a scooter for my wife. She is yet to learn riding, so she won't be able to take TD's.
    I did take a TD of Wego and Jupiter. I liked both but Jupiter being new and fresh, a bit inclined towards it. Again, the waiting period on Jupiter and No Disc brake variant is putting me into puzzle.

    Is it worth the wait for Jupiter or should I go ahead with Wego ?

    How good is Yamaha Cygnus Alpha ?

    Ray might be good but not considering because I might use it occasionally and doesn't suit me

        For a lady who is about to ride a bike for the first time, the lightest and lowest should probably make the maximum sense. Don't TD from your POV, TD from hers.
        Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

          Thank You for the reply. Height shouldn't be a problem because she is 5' 6", regarding weight I feel Wego/Jupiter is lighter than Activa. Not considering scooty !

          So if you have to pick between Wego and Jupiter, which would be the best bet ?

            The Jupiter, it has a few more things which makes it more sensible. This is asides from the fact that i have read in many places about the prolonged delivery period for the J. Advantage being tubeless, disadvantage being lack of disc brake. The rest of the bike is more or less the same. With the Jupiter having more space on the foot board for luggage, a pass switch (not sure if the wego has one as well).

            At the end of the day, just ask your wife whichever she finds better looking

              Even I noticed difference of TL tyres, Disc and gas charged shocks only. TL tyres and gas charged shocks can be put on Wego later (if required), but disc can't be put on Jupiter easily.

              She has seen Wego and kinda liked it, she is yet to see Jupiter in real. Will check over this weekend.
