  • Looking for a sports tourer: Any Ninja 1000 Ownership Review??

    Hi All,

i owned Pulsar 150 in 2006 and later moved to Pulsar 220 in 2011, now the time has come where i saved enough money to go for even bigger monster...

I need help on this from all of you.

    1. Anyone here who already bought 2014 Ninja 1000 and can share their experience (I searched on forum but did not found any review)
    2. What are the Pro & Cons for this bike.
    3. What are the other options in range of 14lac (should be within 14lac on road and should be sports tourer)
    4. How much the average maintenance/servicing cost for all this SBK's
    5. Advantages/disadvantage of Buying Indian Invoiced Bike or Importing with full custom duty paid?

    Thanks,
    Anil

    Approved!

Anil, I have moved your query in the What Bike section (because SBK Ownership section is meant for posting threads/logs after the purchase).

    Questions specific to Ninja 1000:
    1. Are you located in Pune?
    2. Do you have the resources to spend on new riding gear (helmet, jacket, gloves, pants, boots - both rider and pillion)?
    3. Service charges are ~15k per service. (10k km interval)

    Other choices are: (sports tourers)
    1. Suzuki Bandit
    2. Pre owned Hayabusa.

Tagging @harish.krovvidi for real life replies.

EDIT: OD/ACI have reviews for Ninja 1000.
