  • Please suggest me a bike

    Hello biker buddies.

Let me start with my biking history.
I have used pulsar Hero Honda CBZ X-treme, Pulsar 180 UG-III, Yamaha FZ-s, and CBR 250r respectively.
All the bikes were used for 2-3 years. i have used all these bikes and have sold them.No a days i dont have bike.

I am Not a hard core tourer but still i have gone to Agra, Vrindavan, Neemrana, Panipat from Delhi on cbr250r and FZ-s.

    My budget is 80k.
I want comfortable bike which can cruise at 100kmph-120kmph.

I was thinking for avenger. My Dad is already using Bajaj Pulsar 220 and i found it a bit rough. so i am not very sure abut Avenger's performance as its pulsar's De-tuned engine.

    Things i want:-

    smooth engine.
    Power.cruise 100kmph-120kmph.
    comfortable
    Looks

    and if possible then mileage.
    .................................................

please recommend me some bikes with their on road price.

    Thanks

80 k brings fz, rtr180 ,which cannot criuse at 100-120 kmph without breaking a sweat, they can do 90-100 fine. Anything above that is just a digit for them that is above their capability, stretch 13 k and get p220 ,it will suit you, or you can also check ns, but that will blow your budget. But a BIG NO to fz, fazrr, rtr160 .if not possible, then you can settle with rtr180 ,but with 90-100 speeds only. And do check the vibration thingy, some people love it,some people ignore it, but I wasn't able to withstand it (in.my case, I went first to buy RTR180 ,And ended up with 200ns,also tvs is improving, so Maybe now rtrs are more rectified (hope so) .best of luck. And about that rough part, either your Dads p isn't maintained well, or you're a honda guy. In that case, even duke 200 will trouble you. Better get a second hand cbr/r15 ,cbr is very much capable and r15 can do 100-110 kmph for 4 hours easy (have tested myself from Delhi to rishikesh, along with a 200ns and rtr180 ,ns can do 120-128 ,depending upon.weight and rtr is suitable for 95-104kmph, note that these biked can do about 10-20kmph more than speeds I've mentioned, but that isn't cruising or long distance travelling)

Anyways, IMHO, you've been spoilt by the CBR250, and no lesser bike will give you the same level of power, comfort and refinement, and in general a hassle free experience.

I know I'll get laughed at for saying this, but consider waiting for the Mojo.

Stretch your budget a bit and check out GS150.
Stretch your budget a little more and check out Pulsar 200NS.

There is only one bike within 1 lakh that can provide 100+ cruising speed, i.e. Pulsar 200. Yes, Bajaj engines ask for more care otherwise they get problems; but 200NS has a different technology engine having better reputation. If you like the riding feel, book one.

U can check pulsar 200ns everything is changed except name, rear tail light and front shocks, refined and stress free engine when compared to pulsars and good mileage about 40kmpl when u r ride it at 80kmph speed on single and 37kmpl with pillion.
Most important is to check it's high speed.due to naked bike it faces wind problem but it can solved by adding windshield.

Re: Please suggest me a bike

I've done 125-127kmph constantly for 200kms, with 5 min break after every 80-90kms TWICE, and I didn't felt any pain, instead, after coming back, I went to gym.only problem will occur when wind movement will be against you in excessive manner.
Edit, hey in less than 2 months, 200ss is launching in about 1.30L₹ ,BUY that and do 130all time.

If at all you go for Bajaj 200NS, wait for few months as FI(Fuel-Injection) version is coming out.

                        Hi friends.
After lots of thinking am still confuse.I have increased my budget upto 1,10,000rs.
you wont believe options which i have considered as my final options

                        Bullet 350 standard
                        &
                        Avenger

i know none of these can cruise 120kmph all day.
but still i guess in the budget of these are the great comfortable cruisers.
please advice me should i go for avenger or std 350.

and please tell me their maintenance cost and fuel consumption.

my height is 5'10". and i weigh about 77.5kgs.

                        please suggest...thanks

....the uce bullet is very good as compared to the older one because they have 120kmph speed as compared to old 100kmph.good fuel mileage of 40-45 when ridden at 50kmph speed.smooth engine....less or no engine oil leak.good pickup...

If u r considering bullet and avenger i will suggest bullet for any day...
