Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

All 4 of your selection criterion point towards Choice No 4 in your list.

Re: which out of these four

        1) Good Overall Performance: since you have mentioned good overall performance and not good track performance / good highway performance / good city street fighting performance......hence .... In terms of good overall performance, i will rank CBR250 as topmost followed by P200NS.

        2) Good Looks: looks are subjective so u decide on ur own.

        3) Comfortable for a 6 feet rider: all the bikes u have mentioned are fairly comfortable for a 6 feet rider. Most comfortable will be bullet with its upright seating position and soft springs.

        4) cheap to maintain and run : i have no idea of the maintenance cost of bullet...but out of rest of the bikes P200NS should be the cheapest to run and maintain ...but the other two bikes will not be too costly to mantain.

Enfields come with their own set of niggling issues, its like u shop for an apple but u also stand a chance to get a lemon. If u get a lemon, mark my words, u will be squeezed for maintenance. If u are willing to take care of your bike like a baby then go for an Enfield, but make no mistake, its not a maintenance free bike. All the other three bikes listed are relatively maintenance free. Cbr 250r will satisfy most of your criteria.

          Goodluck

Re: which out of these four

                1. 200NS (Parts are cheap, labor is cheap and maintenance is almost negligible)
                2. CBR 250 (Not sure if they are selling it anymore, but have heard rumors of it getting updated with a 300 one)
                3. KTM RC(Too much track oriented IMHO. Range and maintenance might be an issue, but unless we get proper user reviews, Cant be too sure about it)
                4. RE C350(Never been a big bullet fan. Needs a lot of care by the owner, which as u said, might be an issue for u.)

Looks are subjective. All the bikes you have listed have a proper list of pros and cons. I'd suggest a test drive if you can manage to get one.
Otherwise, its not much to choose from.
Buy the one suiting your budget and driving style, which again will require a test drive.

                Regards,

CBR250 is definitely a looker. I still curse myself for not buying it when it was launched. Money was problem then, problem now and problem forever

Leave that behind...CBR250, Honda engine, nothg more to be said...best in class..followed by 200NS - These two will give performance and maintance is ease.
RC is something new, I wouldn't bet my money on it immed. Definitely not for touring due to the small fuel capacity. I don't know much more about that
RE, niggles vibrations, Maintenance is a bit high, I have seen 6+ feet ppl driving with their legs coming out from the fuel tank like a root. Even as wide as handle bar

Re: which out of these four

If I were given these 4 options,I would surely go for Ktm Duke RC 200.This beast has got looks, performance and great value for money.Cbr 250r is not value for money, and I felt a little low on low end torque.
                    Now coming to #Pulsarmaniac
1.Pulsar 200 NS - Value for money,Great performance, better acceleration than any other pulsars, satisfying mileage too.But lots of peoples dont support its looks, obviously its a street performance naked bike so it has to look like a #Nakedbike.
2.Pulsar 220 - Value for money, excellent top end torque and mid end too.But it has a bit unsatisfying sitting posture, but once u get used u vl get addicted .

Last but not the least try riding these if any of ur frnd owns these bikes,if it satiafies u then go for it .

There's no such thing called KTM Duke RC 200. D200 and RC200 are 2 different bikes from KTM.

@thread starter, my recommendation would be CBR250 if budget is not a real concern else P200NS is the best bet among the rest.

200 NS will suit all the mentioned needs.

Just want to add something about CBR 250, I am looking to book one now but unfortunately it is not available at all I have enquired in banglore and Coimbatore the dealers have no clue at all. When I called customer care they say it is available and request me to raise a complaint against dealer.

From what I understand there are changes in production line for new model and looks like dealers are right. So waiting for CBR is a dream.

Hi Parth, my vote would go to CBR250 simply because of the build quality and refinement. And being a Honda, won't give you much niggles. BTW, did you have a look at Karizma R? Suits your bill very well.
