I think you should wait a bit 'cause this year we've got a lot new bikes to be rolled out, like you said the new 200 and 220, also we've got the Honda CBR150 PGM-Fi which is speculated to be quite blistering, then you can assess the market with these new models in the fray. Also try out the RTR-Fi and compare with the 200
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

The RTR-Fi would be a very good choice, but then, as you say, you might find it quite uncomfortable because of your height. As ELD says, it would be better to wait and go for a bike, since even if you do decided to go only for the 200/220, there is an FI and a facelift version entering the market soon.

RTR is a very a compact bike. It would be very crapped for a 6 footer.

& in the end i found dat bike a bit creepy & think abt my avg needs too

Is the R15 really uncomfortable for taller people. I was looking at this bike keenly and wanted to test it but problem is my weight which ranges from 100-120 kgs lol and slightly tall.

Will this bike be totally unsuitable for me ? I have no past bike experience except LML T5 ridden around 10 years ago. And am really keen on R15, just that I don't want to repent after buying it.

How can weight range from 100-120 ?

R15 with pillion feels out of breath a lot and since ur also Tall it wont suit you .Try getting someones r15 for a test ride and ride it hard and see how you feel at 90+and heavy leaning .

Else i suggest Pulsar 220 or bullet

hehe .. because I just lose weight as easily as I gain it.

Additionaly I also have my father who might ride pillion ocassionaly. He is not tall, only 5'5 or thereabouts. Also I am getting rather old and jaded and haven't thought about marriage yet, so I also need a chick magnet bike and thus I have an eye on some attention from that quarter as well.

thus the reason I insisted on R15. I usually don't really go fast, rarely over 70 to 80 and never really race. Will it feel out of breath even then, or is it just the low-end pickup which might feel like TVS moped ?

Actually R15 shows its true colours only after 60Kmph .with above 160Kgs weight it will struggle a lot in city .[assuming dad's 60]

since you not gonna ride Fast and want a good looking bike take a test ride with dad on someones pulsar 220 .It has ample torque for u and pillion and looks great too.

and lose some weight if you wanna attract girls to you instead of you bike

Just fascination with Jap bike made me ignore our ghar kee murgi. Also Yam R15 isn't very common where I live, but happen to see lots of Pulsars on the road. Shifted out of Delhi just a few months ago.

Will also test ride the GSR150, 220 DTS-FI, and R15 and go for whichever catches me fancy.
