  • Looking to buy Suzuki Gixxer

    Hi,

I am looking to buy new Suzuki gixxer. Since I was driving a car for past five years, I do not much about bikes. Can you help me with the price, what things need to be taken care of while buying?

Also should i wait for honda 160 cc bike? If not, should i buy gixxer or yahama fzs 2.0?

    Thanks

if you you want a light and nimble street bike, with closed loop fuel injection system and can spend about 92k, then go for Fz v2.0.
if you want fresh new looks, with normal carburetor engine, go for gixxer.

      take Test rides and decide.

In this much price..u can get a lot of bikes. Then why 150 cc.

How about Apache 180 ABS or P220 or add some money and consider P200NS or ZMR.

Re: Looking to buy Suzuki Gixxer

Go for FZ V2.0. Your requirements will fall in place. You don't have to worry at all for the next 5-6 years.
Else, Karizma R(if you want a more powerful machine) or GS150R(almost everything is ok with this bike except the availability of service centers and spare parts).
All these are very smooth and reliable. If you consider city handling as your priority, FZ is a bit ahead.

Re: Looking to buy Suzuki Gixxer

I was too confused between Gixxer and Yamaha FZ V2.0.
Finally decided to go with Gixxer.
I found it better in every term.
It is a clone of FZ but better in every way.

Re: Looking to buy Suzuki Gixxer

Among FZ & gixxer I would suggest Gixxer ,fresh look, higher top speed than fz,engine feel smoother than FZ in top speed & little cheaper than FZ only drawback is no FI , after sales service .

haha... thats coz you own NS200 ^^
@sonuindia88 : you mentioned (5. Intended usage (eg. Office/College commute, Highway runs, Racetrack usage, Weekend recreation riding etc.)- weekend trips) I think you should get a Karizma or 220F for highway stability and comfort.

Else if you want an All rounder then add few more bucks to that 90k and get a 180RTR ABS or 200NS.

I you want to stick to 150cc then Gixxer is better than FZ, ride it to believe it.
