Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

+1 for Gixxer.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Unicorn. Simply because of the legendary engine. Though the looks are a little conventional, you'll find it very comfortable. Not that GS150 is a 'bad' bike. It's a very good one with the luxury of the 6th gear. But, more suited for highway than for city.

+1 to this^^

LSK, you didnt give all the info about yourself and your requirements. I would say Gixxer, best among all three.
Otherwise Unicorn and GS150 both are proven engines, but GS has more features than Unicorn like gear indicator and 6th gear.

who said gs150r is a bad bike? The gs150r is as easy to ride as the unicorn in the city. Both are almost the same size and weight. I even use the 6th gear in bangalore city roads even while riding at just 40 km/h.

With gs150r you get 6th gear, which is very useful on long stretches like ringroads and it keeps the bike engine really smooth on highways even at high speeds of 80 km/h.

The digital speedo console of gs150r is excellent, with separate lights for right and left turn indicators and also a gear indicator, which i think all bikes should have. Gs150r rider seat is not high; it is the same height as unicorn and SZR.

The only minor niggle with gs150r is pillion seat is high. Pillion rider finds it hard to climb on to pillion seat because of pillion seat height. But unicorn pillion seat is also high. Only pulsar has low pillion seat.

The unicorn is also a good bike with a good engine, but it is really outdated. Also, its rear suspension becomes weak after few years, and the rear of the bike sinks down when riding with pillion.

Re: Gixxer or GS150R or Unicorn

Well in my view if you travel on highway more then Gs150's 6 gear transmission would be best ,if have a sari clad wife/mother/sister for pillion then gs150 is best due to its comfortable flat seats which lak on gixxer . If you want street fighter ,high torque ,new style then Gixxer is best & its good on highways too with its 5 gear transmission .
Unicorn although a very good bike ,smooth engine but its aged ,so if you are mid 40-50 age group & want reliability of old honda and are ok with simplicity then go for Unicorn.

I like the GS150R. I own a SZR and I feel the bike has nothing to offer post 60-70kmph(5th gear- 5K-6K RPM). I mostly ride in cities and do ride up 100-150Kms sometimes on the weekends with a pillion. Tell me how is the GS as a bike as well as after sales service.

Re: Gixxer or GS150R or Unicorn

I used to ride my Pulsar 150 to school 15km away.

For office go for gixxer. Radial tubeless are best in terms of puncture repair time than regular tube tyres. High torque and stability at emergency braking is best in gixxer. Reliable.

For highway go for gs150. Butter smooth engine with 6th gear and its a little petrol pump (I think 16 litre fuel tank) correct me if I'm wrong

Unicorn if u are using hair dye, Its an old mans bike. Good , smooth, reliable but OLD & upcoming 160 is just a fabrication job. Still old
