• Upgrade to the duke 200

Hi all,
Its been about 2 years since i purchased the duke and sold it off recently with 18k on the odo.
The duke was everything i wanted it to be back then. But as i rode more and more, i sort of outgrew it in the cruising speed department.Top whack of 135~ is very good, but i need cruising speed of 130-140ish as opposed to say 110ish on duke.
Bike use will be on highway rides, and weekend breakfast meets.Have a scoot for my city rides.
After waiting for few products to launch(none of them hasnt cough cough cbr300 cough cbr500), I've shortlisted these bikes.
1.RC390
2.Used Ninja 300.
3.Hyosung gt650n(not too keen on this, want to hear out users opinion, as ive heard mixed responses.)
Budget isnt a concern for ninja, just that i dont want to spend 4.1l on it.
Help me decide between the two. I have a budget of 4l, but theres no biggie in the market, used ninja 650 was considered but dropped because it lacks in handling department.
Thanks.

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

The best possible upgrade can be RC390 IMO. As you already have a Duke, you'd know the pros and cons very well. And it can cruise at ~ 130 kmph with ease.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Used / New Ninja is a good buy. Bigger tank capacity than the RC, more rider friendly than aggressive stance. I have never driven a RC before. But heard lots on the riding experience from friends that, they do feel pain at the wrist and lower back (just like in R15 when driven for the first time).

Thanks for the approval The Monk,
The position isnt a bother, as Im used to the forward crouch position on my bicycle. Its just a matter of few days.Any updates on the cbr300? Worth the wait?

Re: Upgrade to the duke 200

Sir, If you can wait, there are a lot of options coming in the first quarter of the next year.
The Pulsar SS series, R25, CBR 300, Hero motocorp HX250 to name some of them.

If you dont wanna wait, RC 390 should be the proper upgrade, as you are used to the crouched seating position, you wont have the wrist pain and the back pain. and as you had a duke, you know the pros and cons of the KTM bikes beforehand.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

You can look for N650, N300 and ER-6N or else you also can wait for CBR 650F, CBR300 or may be Benelli will give us some mouthwatering prices of their BN 600GT
