You can also look for the Bullet 500.Great Machine for the same price of CBR 250 (Not Sure).Awesome Cruiser.Slighitly less powerful than TBTS 500 but is defenitly a Classic looking bike than Retro.

You may like one of them or both. Make sure you know what kind of a rider you are. CBR cannot give you the thumping experience and RE cannot give you the adrenaline rush or high speed cruising experience.

If I am going for a RE model, I will definitely go for 500 cc, I don't want to compromise on power again ( My past experience with pulsar 180, turned down 180 for 150 which i regret even now).

Also I called up Honda showroom in Bangalore, and they told me that the CBR 300 booking starts on February 25th, that's sooner than i expected.
      Am thinking ....

My friend has a Bullet 500 cc Bullet 2014 model, and I rode it several times. I like the machine, its smooth , felt very light and thumping best.
However, you will miss the digital instrument cluster, rear disc break and the 20 Ltr fuel tank.

Re: Choosing a Bike: CBR 250 or Thundirbird 500

        Hi All,

I am planning to wait for couple more months for the launch of CBR 300 and 500. And I would like to go for a test ride of both and then decide on should i go for TBT5 or CBR xxx .

However, if the CBR 500 or 300 , if they are worth the money, I am OK raise the budget.
As far as the reviews that i saw in YouTube and other websites ( for CBR 500 ). They are good for City ( Not India) and High ways rides and gives 54 miles per Gallon ( thats like 23 or 24 kmpl ) .

And its like a matured Handsome bike, has a sporty stands and good for long rides and touring. It has 47 bhp of power and 43 nm of tourque, with 471 cc displacement.

So, if they are launching in another 2 months I would defenitely want to try a test drive .

        Thanks
        Peeths

If they are suppose to be believed then Honda will launch the CBR 500R in just 4 lac Rs. Interesting .. !!!!

            Hi All,

Looks like cbr 500 is going to get delayed ..... no news from honda yet. Would it be a wise decision if i go for Duke 390 rather than waiting for CBR 500?

Also I am 6 ft, Would i be comfortable and the pillion ?
            Thoughts please ...

            Thanks

Same with me. Was deciding between CBR and T500, ended buying Duke 390.
