Hi fellas , I am going to buy a new bike in 150-180 cc category .SO far have shortlisted Apache 160 ,Gixxer ,Plusar 180.
Among the 3 the Pulsar is the lowest contender in my consideration due to being same age old model & you see pulsar every where so it lack bit exclusivity one expect .
then comes Apache and top contender is Gixxer .I love the looks of Apache & have driven my cousins bike.

Today I went to the showroom of bajaj & Apache .The Apache showroom guy in Dehradun quoted on road price of 78078 for single disk & 80235 for dual disk Apache 160 bikes ,I feel they are charging 9K on 69K showroom-price ,which I feel very high on inquiring he mentioned 2000 for leg-guard & sari guard .
Do you guys feel if the quoted price is Ok or I am being take for a ride ?

Abour Gixxer, I could't go to the show room but I have a few doubts regarding its spare & maintenance-cost compared to Apache or pulsar ,although a better performer than Apache or Pulsar & would surely go for it if i could get it for 80K onroad in dehradun .

The Bajaj show room quoted(Rs 5894 +ex showroom price) 3800 for RTO ,1689 for Insurance & 405 for bringing the bike form Pune factory to Dehradun (Thats what the sales girl told me when asked about the rs 405 ) .SO bajaj charging about 5894 for tax+rto+Accessory & TVS asking about 9000 for tax+rto+Accessory .
