Re: Bike under 1 lakh (200NS or wait for the SS)

Bro please don't mind because any bike more than 180cc is not required to u as per your riding. You will only enjoy riding the bike on the highway.i have pulsar 200ns and discover 135 sports edition but i enjoy riding discover and (pulsar 200ns only on the highway).

Conclusion is that you can buy any 150cc bike.
Suzuki gixxer 155 bike is good and do 80-90kmph on the highway. And return 40+kmpl at those speed

I said this because of my experience after riding 200ns that it has more power which is still not used in our day to day rides.it will give you 37kmpl on the highway @80kmph speed with the pillion.

I understand where you are coming from, however, it also depends on the entire package. I commute 60 KMs daily, and my weapon of choice is my Ninja 300. I have tried Pulsar 150, Pulsar 220, Duke 200, R15 earlier.

But my favorites are the R15 and Ninja 300. They are at home in city traffic and also on highway.

My experience says it is the level of engineering and quality on the bike that determines how entertaining it is to ride whether in city or on highway.

RTRs are not comfortable for 5'10"s and above. Look, My dad has ridden a RTR and he says it is a bit uneasy for him to sit as the foot setup is cramped.
And yes, ABS is a life saving feature, that's the only USP of the ABS RTR.
There are some who love and hate the exhaust note. You and me are among the lovers' side!!!

Consider Pulsar 220 and Karizma ZMR.
Both should give you 35+ mileage.
Both suits you for all your points except that ZMR doesn't suit for racetrack usage.

Why wait for another disater and buy a pulsar. You have a better option now itself. Go for Suzuki Gixxer or Yamaha FZS Fi. Best performer bikes. One with good engine other with a better Mileage with FUel Injection.
