Welcome,Sir.My name is Bharath too.As you are 6 feet high,Yamaha FZ FI V2 and Suzuki GiXXeR would suit you the best. You can try out the TVS Apache RTR 180 too.It\'s recommended to slightly rise the Budget (Rs.5000 more) and get the ABS Version.It\'s not the most Comfortable but is the most Powerful,Beast Looking bike.TVS After sales has better and wider coverage so you won\'t have to worry if at all the Bike Breaks down,Spares are cheaper than Yamaha and Suzuki so Lesser cost on Maintainence and als the Engine is a Fiero Block which is Tried,Tested and proven. There is a whole Ownership thread for RTR so anyone can help you too.You can take a look at the Pulsars but I won\'t recommend it now because Bajaj has way lower quality than TVS.Honda CB Unicorn 160 is good too.

I am too looking for my frst 150> bike for last 2-3 months So far selected 2 bikes 1.Apache rtr 160 2.Suzuki Gixxer .

At first I was more inclined to wards Apache but the dealer at apache came to be a deal broker & once I checked out the Gixxer the more I drifted from my once desire (white 160 RTR).

The only negative I found about gixxer is its short seat & spares parts but again how many times one would spend time at work shop.
The good thing about gixxer its mileage compared to Apache given that it sports a wider tyre than the skinny apache tyre.

You can go for either FZV2.0 or Gixxer for the budget and requirement you have.
Both of them are relatively new. The FZV1.0 has been for a while in Indian markets though. There is not much to chose from these two. It all comes down to personal preference. Where the Gixxer scores in having a little more power output, the FZ scores in FI and handling. Take a TR of both and decide.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Gixxer, but a mileage of 50+ is a doubtful one...considering the traffic and road conditions. But you should be able to make out atleast 43+

Copy-pasting from my previous post, hoping it would be of help.

Personally I'm a fan of Bajaj(Not the KTM hybrid ones.), competitively prices, reliable and cheap on maintenance. You can opt for Discover 150, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180 or Pulsar 220(Got one a few weeks back, pain in the ass, but I'm loving it.).

                2015 ~ 2017 TVS Wego (Totaled at 18k)
                2015 - Bajaj Pulsar 220F (Currently 31k) < Garage Queen!

Why is it pain in ass? What's wrong with the bike. I thought the current version of 220 was very good and improved.

I run on Motul 7100, the bike has covered 3.3k kms as of now.

On the highway its a vibrator at 110+ kmph speeds, right from around 2k kms on the ODO my starter has been slipping which is a manufacturing defect, and on my most recent journey the clutch cable snapped and I had to ride around 200~250kms without using the clutch, its not exactly a defect as the cables are consumables as well, but even then it did really piss me off.

The above niggles are common for any bike and I know this because this is my third one, and in spite of the above niggles, I'm still in love with the bike.
