• Motorbike With Best Suspension

Hello guys,

I'm looking to buy a new bike for my father. He's actually having a problem in his back and needs to travel comfortably.

I need a bike with the following features:
1.) Best Suspension (Very very important)
2.) Economic price ( Below 1 lakh, preferably around 80K)
3.) Should be comfortable for two seater.
4.) Should be at least 150 CC (preferably)

I'm thinking of Honda CB Unicorn 160CC Model with Monosuspension. Anything better ?

Please suggest ASAP.

Thank you.

Well to start with i will never suggest anyone a Motorcycle if he has a back problem. No matter how good is the suspension the ergonomics off all motorcycle is such that it will always put some degree of pressure on the back. But if you have to go for a Motorcycle. Unicorn is a fantastic choice. Rather than depending on a good suspension get the dampening of the suspension adjusted according to the weight of the rider. Also check if the seat is comfortable if not get that modified too.

The unicorn 160 or 150 both have good suspension.
I personally own a unicorn 150 it's so comfortable , really silent , Smooth refined engine and good riding position .
And the new 160 also has CBS this adds more safety , both models get 50+ mileage

I find Hero Impulse has the BEST suspension. Front forks have a very long stroke as well as back monoshock with quite a large travel. Check it out!

+1 for unicorn 160.

perfect combination of comfort, reliability and niggle free ownership.
you wouldn't go wrong with it. it is the best in the segment.
Take test ride, and if your dad finds it comfortable. Go for it.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Uni 160 is a great choice. Also check out the Yamaha SZ-RR. Though SZ doesn't have mono suspension, its pretty comfortable. Both of these bikes have reasonable power and overall quality is also good.

Check if you can get a second hand suzuki inazuma. That thing is a sofa on wheels with extreme comfort

Re: Motorbike With Best Suspension

Cost wise unicorn falls in the premium category where is competes with gixxer and fz but features wise it is competing with spledour i.e. it has no kill switch, no DC headlight, poor centre stand quality, vibrations after 6000 rpm, average tires, tiny horn. Overall it is just another attempt by honda to extract more profit from its average quality products which only falls in premium category just because of their price tags rather thans build quality and premium features.

A second hand Karizma should do the trick. Preferably check the models between 2008-2010

Go for Unicorn 160. Almost all Honda bikes in India have plush suspension. I believe Hero Xtreme is also decent in terms of comfort. But I am not sure if the split seat would hinder pillion comfort. Shouldn't say this on xbhp but you could also consider a used Tata Nano :P

captain666 yes it is discontinued.

One has to find a second hand because here in this thread we are talking about unicorn so price wise it's way above so only second hand make sense even if it was available.
