  • Sell my duke 200 and get a cbr 250 abs ?

I have a duke 200 and have run it for 3000kms.I am not a big fan of aggressive driving and i cant handle the vibrations that are produced on my duke.My buy was a mistake i believe. Now my duke delivers a mileage of 37-43kms when i ride to college..moderate traffic.I am of the idea of selling my duke and getting a second hand cbr250 abs.Is my thought foolish? I am looking for cbr at 100k range and had been driven atleast 13k kilometers. How much mileage can i expect from a second hand cbr250.Will it be good for a laid back driving style.however I drive rash occasionaly.Thank you.need your advice.

    Query Approved

Firstly, please don't ride rash ever. It is not worth losing life and limb for a moment of foolishness.

Secondly, the two bikes are very different. Make sure you ride someone's CBR for considerable kilometres before you make the switch, you wouldn't want another bike which doesn't suit your tastes.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Hahaha. You are at the same situation what I was 4mnths ago.
Mate reconsider the purpose of buying
If touring is the motive go for duke 390

Personally. I don't find anything hard which can push me to buy CBR after I see 390 launched in market very close to the same price tag.

High speed cruising will be fun on 390

Oh yes ... Go for a new one which ever u buy .. Won't be a hole in ur pocket for sure

Pls use the D200 & save your Parents money on both fuel & the cost of used CPR. By the time you start making money, there will be plenty of options that you can consider buying.

I suggest you save your money and try a simple mod that can reduce the aggressive nature of the Duke 200.

Change only the rear sprocket with 200NS, this will make your bike less aggressive and it 'might' vibrate a little less (not sure on vibrations)
