  • Bullet Standard 350cc or RE TBTS

    Folks,

My brother is finally planning to get Royal Enfield for himself after dreaming for a real long time.

He wants the real feel of BULLET thus inclined towards BULLET 350cc STANDARD/Electra.

I am strongly suggesting him to go for RE TBTS, due to performance, better mileage & looks.

Never owned a bullet myself, I am recommending based on the reviews that I have read in the past.

Suggestions welcome please so that he can decide!

      Comments pls!

      Folks,

He wants to get this BIKE on his birthday & we realized that there is a waiting period of 20~40days on Royal Enfield Bikes.

Appreciate if you share your opinion & suggestions pls.

I will say ,get a Bullet Electra 4S ,if it is still available(old stock) in north India.Else ,go for Bullet 350cc Standard.
For the Price TBTS is offered ,it is better to get the 500cc AVL beast - Machismo .after 1 or 2 years ,electra also will be served with UCE engines.this twinspark thunderbird is really that much worth the money?I don't think so.

My personal suggestion, go for 500 inspite of TBTS.
TBTS is undoubtly a wonderful machine but have never gave me a bullet like feel. I mean its better to compare TBTS with Avenger or Enticer, its more a cruiser type than a Bullet.

            hi,

your brother wants a bullet? then let him have a standard.

if he wants a bike that runs and behaves well. go for TBTS....

for the record, I own a standard 350..

I would say that the 500 LB will be a better option, you get more power plus less hassles No offense meant to CI, its just my few considering that this would be your first RE.

                Decision Time!

                Folks,

Thanks a lot for all your INPUTS, Appreciate it!

                Decision Time:
We have decided to go for RE ELECTRA 5S (Red/Black)

                Will be booking it shortly.

We are in Bangalore thus any suggestions about the dealer & extra goddies that we can ask for

                    Yeah Man,

We spoke to TEKNIC motors however the minimum time he wants in 20~30 days.

HSR motors has committed delivery with-in a week. Will negotiate for CRASH GUARD
