Honda has some fantastic bikes but their after sales service is very pathetic. The folks are very arrogant(you will find many people complaining over their service quality from various parts of India). Communicating with the company helps. But, why should one do that in the first place?
Hope your experience with other service centers is better.

TVS Jupiter/Wego are great when it comes to scooters.They have many new Features.Not to forget the EZ Stand,Great Ride Quality and Comfort.
Yamaha SZ and TVS Phoenix 125 Disc are great Bikes.Yamaha Offers better Build Quality than TVS.TVS offers lesser Maintainence costs and has more dealerships.
Honda is Just OK now.There are clearly better products from the Competition.Honda's A.S.S and Spare parts (Maintenance cost a Bomb compared to others).

My Suggestion for Scooter - TVS Wego/Jupiter
For Bike - Yamaha SZ and TVS Phoenix 125

Thanks for you input. The after sales of Honda does seem to be pretty bad, heard quite a few users complaining about it, however, I am not sure abut the maintenance costing a bomb, like you are saying. I remember reading in one of the other threads here that the maintenance cost is not high at all.

I surely like the SZ-RR, but again I am yet to get a reply from any of the members here about good Yamaha Service Station here in Delhi/NCR.

I have certainly got TVS Phoenix on my list, but I really do not seem to find many Phoenix on roads here in Delhi which again makes me sceptical about it. If a product is good but after sales/spares availability is a pain then it will be problematic for me in the long run.

Guys I don't understand why you are so paranoid about the ASS or spare parts availability. Bikes are made to go a long way. It's not everyday that you will encounter a problem and need replacement parts. Don't worry about ASS. Choose which bike you like the most. TVS Phoenix is good option for you. But go for Yamaha SZ

Well its not about being paranoid but a good ASS certainly ensures peace of mind and I would disagree with the fact that we should not be worried about ASS. It is one of the vital factors, if not the most vital factor while considering a purchase.

Since I was unable to get any credible input about Yamaha SVCs here in Delhi, looks like I am headed towards getting a Honda CB Shine now. Most probably will get one on this weekend itself.
