  • A Good looking bike for a teen

Hey all I m rohan. I am currently studying in a medical college in bareilly. I am basically from noida. I want your help in deciding a bike for me. And here it goes about my needs...
    Budget anything below 1.2L
    Age 19.5
    Height 6'1"
    Weight 85
Use mostly as college commute but may use it to travel between my home and college in vacations and may be a trip or two with friends so it must be comfortable for long journey also. And mind you my home to college is more than 250kms.
Mileage the most I can get
Daily use would be around 20 to 25kms
And about preference I like faired bikes no naked street fighter types I currently own passion xpro and m not so experienced with just 5to 6k kms experience but enough to know what I want from my ride. My riding style is very relaxed not aggressive at all. I want a bike which should touch 100 in no time and above which I don't see any reason to go.
I have nearly narrowed my choices with few options left...
    1. Suzuki gixxer sf I love the blue one as it luks
    2. As 200 I love this most but those bolts on visor is painful
    3. Rs200 & R15 but I find them very aggressive types not sure if I can cover 250 kms or more on that at a stretch
So please help me out and my priority list is :- looks>>>acceleration>comfort>pillon seat(I do want to have her with me most of the times)
You can add a few bikes in list too please help me out soon

    Query Approved

Seeing your order of priorities, the Suzuki Gixxer SF is probably the most suitable bike for you.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      Hey Rohan,

Did you manage to get a TD on RS200...or Did you sit on anybody else's bike and checked the seating position. It may not be as relaxed like your FZ or Gixxer, But little sporty and not as punishing as R15.

And with your budget limit of 1.2L, i dont see RS200 fitting in there at all. Your best buy for such long journeys , Gixxer SF or even Fazer v2.

As200 I love this most but those bolts on visor is painful - I dont understand this statement, what do you mean by painful ?

Both the Gixxer SF and the Fazer2.0 suits your requirements perfectly. The quality and fit of the fairings are good. Though the Fazer is a bit low on power, it makes up for that by the FI.

Gixxer SF or RS200 are your options. Barring them, you can get some well maintained CBR 250 in that price range of yours.

My Vote to RS 200, Extremely minute detailing and a beauty, esp. the red colour . Plus, the Engine is a tweaked version of the tried and tested NS200 Engine. Add to that easier availability of spares and the frequency of the Bajaj Showrooms.

          Regards,
          Achyut.
