Sorry guys somehow only a part of my first post got posted.here is the complete post i had written
Hello everyone i am Pankaj. I want to upgrade from my current Hero Glamour 125cccc to a bike in 150 cc segment because my current steed is now more used by my father and there is need for a additional bike. My height is 159 cm. I am just able to land my just front half of both feet while riding Glamour. Most of the usage will be in city commute of around 10-15 km daily with some weekend trips to near by hill stations like mussorrie ,dhanolti etc. Have plan to do leh next year. I have honda unicorn CB160, Suzuki gixxer 155, pulsar 150 AS in my mind (R15,CBR 150 are too costly). In pulsar 150As power is good but torque is low and peak power very close to redline hence not very much useful. Please suggest a good bike. Bikes outside the list may be included.

Well there are lots of options available in 150cc segment. Out the list u shortlisted.. Gixxer is a true winner and suitable for your height and also your requirement.. Unicorn and Pulsar have a little height.. As u said on glamour your half foot touch the ground.. So comfort becomes your first priority here. Consider the FZ also here.. A great city commuter plus amazing low and mid range torque for commute and also hill rides..
Test ride the bike first.. Will be better for you to decide.. And before making a purchase.. Make sure the service station of that company is nearby to your place.. Will help you in the long run for bits and tits here and there..
Cheers

Re: A bike from 150 cc segment
Hi pankaj..
Considering your points yamaha fz would be suitable for your needs..its a nice city commuter as well as touring bike. Low maintenance as compared to pulsars and would also fit in your budget of 1 lacs.

Re: A bike from 150 cc segment
From your requirements I'd suggest you FZ2.0 or Gixxer. Both have fantastic build quality and smooth engine(FZ a little ahead imo). Gixxer again is a little more powerful. But FZ scores in FI. Gixxer is more exclusive as of now. FZ has better pillion comfort.
Take a test ride and decide.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
