This is my first post here.I am planning on upgrading my bike,i have a 2013 Kawasaki ninja 300.I loved the bike and still remember the day when i got it now i am planning on upgrading my bike so,my choices are the hyosung 650 and Kawasaki z800..I know both of these bikes are in different categories and is like comparing an apple with an orange.I was leaning on the GT 650 until i saw the Z800.I need a good supportive answer which can support my decision on getting either of these The major concern i have is will the Z800 be too powerful to handle?.I would love to hear your opinions out.Thankyou

Query Approved
The Z800 without any doubt. No, the power will not overawe you. Just keep head firmly screwed onto shoulders.
Cheers

Re: Biggest confusion of my life
Dude Z800 is for you.
Why: If there is no budget constraint then any available 650cc segment bike is behind to Z800 in general terms. It has more power, killer looks, ABS and so on. Don't forget that sweet inline 4 engine.

z800 , benelli , truimph..
and more power is never enough. you will get a hang on of it in the run-in period.
hyosung should not be in this list that too if you are coming from a kwacker..."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Biggest confusion of my life
I love fully faired bikes hence the mention of the GT650.I didn't really have a thing for naked bikes until I saw the z800 in the showroom. The specs of the z800 is incredible.Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postz800 , benelli , truimph..

wait out for cbr650f. if the OTR is anything less than 7.5 you have a winner and it will be a no brainer though thin chances that it will be that less but who knows.
keep a check on august 4th. as for faired n650 is another no nonsense machine. a goof FFE and fuel controller like PC you should be able to squeeze another 7-8 bhp easy and still save 2L which can be invested in good gear and rest for some personalized customization like rear fender, frame sliders , levers etc."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Biggest confusion of my life
I honestly had only 3 options in my mind earlier, they were kawasaki ninja 650,hyosung GT650 and the Honda Cbr 650f.I honestly didn't like the N650 as it was too tourer oriented bike so i had set my eyes on the 650f but the problem is it's coming via ckb route,so I think it would be priced around 8 lakhs. If its priced below that then its definitely a no brainer.I would definitely go for it without a doubt.I would definitely wait until the 650f is released, thanks for the tips mate.Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postwait out for cbr650f. if the OTR is anything less than 7.5 you have a winner and it will be a no brainer though thin chances that it will be that less but who knows.

due to being inline twin its always considered underdog however its a part of sports touring batch and not just touring that makes it very much capable in handling department too. agreed the dry weight is more and bhp is less buts its a fuss free motorcycle. also kawasaki SVC is well set now due to their foot print being here since some time.
wait out for honda else my vote goes for n650.
you can always go for clip-on handle bars and custom suspension if your really want to push it to limits on corners and some good rubber."A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Biggest confusion of my life
Please also have a look at the monster 795 and the scrambler. They are well priced and if you are considering nakeds they look drool worthy, of course there are just a few outlets... You could be the first one with an ownership review of these beauties[emoji6]
