  • Bike suitable for both pillion and rider and must be reliable too

    Guys.......good evening.

(this is my first thread so pardon me if you find some mistakes and if you don't understand clearly)

I'm Joe Harry from Bangalore, basically from Madurai, Tamil nadu.
Joined xBhp few days before in a hope that you guys will help to make a good decision of buying a bike.
During my college days,I was using RTR160(second hand). Now my parents have decided to get a bike for me on my B'day on October..
I made up mind with NS,but after looking through the reviews of owners who owns the bike for more than 2 years,I'm little scared about the reliability of Bajaj, some says vibes are at low RPM, some says at high RPM..and about the chain sounds of every Bajaj bikes..But IMO NS is the best made pulsar ever. but NS owners and experts please give your honest opinion about NS and its pillion comfort. (no long trips..only for city rides)

I had CBR150R in mind but neglected that.. Now I'm in a dilemma about NS and Gixxer naked..(I don't like the headlight of SF,IMO) I know that Gixxer and NS are different machines in their perfomance..
But because of Suzuki engine and some positive reviews I consider Gixxer too. I wont do long rides often and never with pillion.. So pillion comfort for city limits is all I need..

I need good machine which lasts for at least 5-6 years..anyway maintenance is must for that..its in my hands

So friends I need details about Pillion comfort between

    GIXXER and NS..

And about the spare costs,ASS service quality, lasting engine..

also can i change the back lit color of NS speedometer to blue as seen in AS..

No AS because of its Discover like looks(IMO)

    only between NS and Gixxer..

and whether Bajaj is going to stop NS ? I Hope they wont..

    Approved!

NS production is stopped now in favor of RS/AS. Get the Suzuki.

The Suzuki is better in regards to pillion comfort than the Bajaj. Still the pillion seat looks on the higher side to me.
As an option, have a look at the Fz 2.0.

Yup..thank you all for your suggestions..But Gixxer looks like shorter..will it suit me.. I'm nearly 5'9.... and NS is permanently stopped ??
