More than the weight the AS is a taller bike. What is your height, did you manage to get your feet down comfortably on the AS. If you can then the weight shouldn't be a problem. Though the Gixxer is an awesome bike as well and it will give better fuel efficiency also i presume.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Re: first bike confuses
Being skinny is not a problem shadowrider, Its just about how tall are you, Are you able to firmly place your foot on the ground , rather than tip-toeing and loosing balance. Weight is not an issue whilst the vehicle is in motion. That 'extra' weight might be painful when your try to pull the bike from parking lot tail first or taking sharp U-Turns.Originally posted by shadowrider View PostOkay so confused between two bike...the gixxer 155 and pulsar as200.i know theres a 50cc difference between these two...i really love the as200 but dont know if i will be able to handle the weight...am really skinny

Both the bikes are good for touring. Personally, I have never driven neither of them. But have driven Gixxer 155 and NS 200. Also, let us know your intended usage, are you a mile-muncher or just city commuter...Give us some more insight about your requirement. Are you game-on for others as well, if your budget is not a constraint.R15S - Current

Re: first bike confuses
Gixxer should be a good one for your requirements - if you are fine with the height of the pillion seat. The AS is a bit on the heavier and taller side.
You can also consider FZ2.0. The pillion seat is better and the FI is a good addition.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Re: first bike confuses
Hi All... I am purchasing my first bike. I am beginner level rider so willing to buy bike that fits to me. Initially I went to buy shine (68000) n later I visited Bajaj showroom. The pulsar 135 ls (71000) caught my attraction. But I got to know no good reviews about pulsar 135ls. But still I booked it last Sunday 03 Sept 2015 listening to my heart beat. But the story of negative reviews still continued n suggested me to go for 150 DTS-I. I am still beginner n have fear of riding heavy bike so going in favour of light weight pulsar 135 ls. I also got to read about phasing out of this version of pulsar making unavalibility of spare parts.yesterday I changed my booking to 150 DTS-I. I don know that much about bikes so getting driven by choices of peoples around me n their perception. I am putting my hard earned money so request you to guide me .your advice would be very helpful to me. Thanks in advance.

Re: first bike confuses
There are a couple of bikes in your segment. I do recommend going for a 150cc bike. Try pushing you budget to 90k if possible.Originally posted by pulse135ls View PostUp to 80000
Best you can get is Gixxer, then you have options such as FZ-S, AS150, Apache RTR 160, CB Trigger
