There has been some speculation, yes... But my experience of waiting makes me skeptical about such news. Don't take my word for it, though; research, and see if you are satisfied. And wait a while if it makes you happy

If you have 1.5l to spare, then i say look no further than the cbr150.
can be ridden two up comfortably unlike say a r15 or a duke.
rides just fine in the city as well as munches miles on the highways.
refined engine, good handling and performance for a 150cc.. and not to mention the nice looks.

S0 did a test ride for few bikes

        CBR150R, Apache, Unicorn, Classic 350.

Planning to do Duke 200, Hornet & Mojo by this week. Could not try Duke in last few days, as the nearest showroom in Thane has no test vehicle. When i asked how ppl buy bikes from them, he said they give unallotted vehicles for test ride. Wonder what wrong with KTM to give new customer bikes for test ride.

Will decide after riding both these bikes on which one to buy. Mojo was never in list but saw it on street today and liked the looks, so started research on it now.
I liked CBR 150R a good option and will keep it as last option if am not able to decide on any of the naked bikes.

Any inputs on Mojo?(i know its first version n hiccups, anything else apart from that?)

None of mahindra's two wheeler have had any success.. i personally would not buy one considering their past history, in case it repeats itself.
You seem to have your eye on a really wide range (in terms of a bike's performance / characteristics).. and this will lead to a lot of dilemma.
First try to figure out what you want and then test ride the bikes a few times (not once).. then spend a few days to think over before making a buy.
As for the duke, it costs around 1.6L now.. and it's got good performance.
I think one of them Honda's (cbr or the 160/hornet) or even the Apache 180 (feels like a small bike for tall people) would be a good fit for you. These will be well within your budget, easy to ride in the city as well as occasional highway runs. I really liked the way the cbr150 held up on highway runs, a pretty solid bike in its category.
Also why not give the new r15s a try, similar capabilities as the cbr150 but a little more aggressive stance at a slightly cheaper price.

Yeah m keeping choices largely on mid premium segment of 200-350cc. Coz I am upgrading from my pulsar 135 and don't want to settle for another bike in similar segment, else would have bought unicorn with eyes closed. I have a budget right now so thinking of buying a better bike as mileage is not a big concern now even though I would be doing good kms each day. I need a bike which I can use for regular commute for year or two at max and then keep it for touring occasionally. If I would have preferred fared bikes then CBR wud have been first choice. R15's posture is something I am sceptical about and not to forget again a fared bike. I just prefer naked ones over the fared ones as a personal choice. Now the better options are all fared and adding to the dilemma.
