R15 is a track oriented bike and since you are not gonna be doing track days then R15 is not for you.
Duke 200 is a naked bike so that bike isnt for you either since you are looking for fully faired bike

Current bike being a 150cc bike, it would make sense to go for a higher displacement bike (atleast 200cc)

For now the only bike that fits the bill is the RS200 which is FI, has parts available with front only single channel ABS. Gives a good enough fuel mileage of around 37kmpl

My recommendation? Explore the naked bike segment as well and wait until after February till the Indian AutoExpo2016 is over since new bikes will be launched.

Hi Saikat, did you decide on anything?
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

          Hi Saikatbyte,

I suggest you revisit those points that you mentioned. Also consider what I'm saying below:
          1. You intend to buy a supersports bike (obviously because they are so cool with all the fairing and fun to ride or rather race).
          2. And then you wish to use it as a daily driver (without thinking about the comfort of riding position and the difficulties that you will face during B2B traffic). Be prepared for sore wrists, back and neck for the initial few months.
          3. You already own a faired 150cc segment bike (which is actually an amazing machine in itself) and still you wish to stick to the same 150 segment?

          My suggestion:
          1. KTMs are always pricey. Great bikes come at a great cost! Think wisely before you choose one. And don't go for the RC. Go for either of the Duke twins. Definitely worth every penny...Especially the 2016 models. And choose the 390 only if you're confident about controlling that much power.
          2. Bajaj, VFM stuff....But bad engineering and pathetic after sales service (atleast here in Bangalore). You can get an RS, as that is by far the smoothest and most refined pulsar yet. But be prepared for some issues in the pipeline. Its a gamble in the end.
          3. Gixxer SF on the other hand is an amazing bike. Superb looks. Fine engine. Great ride. I don't have an idea about maintenance costs. But I believe it's one helluva bike in current Indian market.
          4. Finally... What you fail to see is the king of the 150 segment... Yamaha R15! Now that it's coming with a single seat variant...It packs the classic R15 V1 with some stuff from the superb V2! It's definitely an awesome machine. Great looks (even though a bit outdated). Amazing performance once it's past the run-in period. Great mileage. Great VFM. And the trust of YAMAHA! Go test ride and see for yourself.

Final Verdict: If you haven't already concluded on a bike. Then please don't just go for the looks straightaway or fancy features straightaway. Choose one of the Japanese manufacturers. They make quality sfuff. Test ride them. Feel the engine taking to you...understand if it matches your rhythm. And then finalise on the one that fits your bill and makes you smile!

I hope this helps. Please excuse me if I have wronged you in anyway. May the creator guide you well and protect you while you ride! [emoji4]

R15s is the best option you can get which is practical, comes with proven engine, reliable, fuel efficient and good looking also.
